In Munich for a few days, super excited to go to a real Lego store tomorrow!

There are 2, you know! :-)
I know, and that makes me even more excited! We went to one yesterday and will go to the other today! We also hit up a TRU, and they had a few decent sales going!

I find it odd and a bit scary that 24 people liked the idea of @Pitfall69  luring a young man into his home with a LEGO "tour".
No no no. His mother and Uncle came with him. His Unvle is a client of my wife. He didn't want his nephew to abandon the hobby due to peer pressure.

^oh the old 'uncle is a client of my wife'  excuse. That won't protect you from the judgemental... And probably adding historical bondage equipment to the fire wasn't the best idea. It's all downhill for your reputation from here. Tut Tut Tut. ;)

Hahahaha. Yeah, probably not the best idea, but I thought that was more torture equipment than...ahem...bondage...that doesn't make it better...*sigh.

Got my Christmas present from the company today - £25 gift card and a large Italian cake (Pandoro).

    Merry Christmas me :-)

(Though I will save the GC for when new sets are out.)

    i m wondering

is the gingerbread house promo gone? or is it because of the heavy server load from thousands of orders on lego.com ?

@Legoboy that was really funny ;)

@brumey I think it was sold out in Europe

I spent the last couple of days tyding up pieces, re-organising my collection (with some handy boxes hubby bought for me). Now I am gearing up to built my last Christmas set.
Also been racking my brain about the brickset competion, but I have not got much excperience with Moc-ing micro-models, so find it difficult to get it done. Who knows, now all the little bits are vissible, inspiration might strike!

I've sorted my freshly washed lego this week, well, I started to sort it.

It took me 3-4 months to sort it prior to washing it. I spend most of saturday washing it and I spend monday evening sorting blues and reds - at the end of the night I felt like I was only seeing red!!

Last night I tackled the trans / clears and sorted by colour and size.

Now I have a draw full of greys left, which will be a little harder as you need good light to be able to tell the difference between old grey, new bley and gunship etc ...

As for red armed C-3PO, if you can't find 30 squids worth of SW stuff atm (I know I can't!) you can also grab it directly from TRU - the german site - for 3,99 + shipping.

I've just been informed that I bought the Doctor Who set back in September and it's now under the tree at home. I did not realise I had done this. Thumbs up me in the past ;)

Sorting out xmas presents, including what Lego sets are being given to our little boys, its great when your mother & grandmother both hand you cash & say pick up some toys for the kids.

@BrickDancer - nice! In exactly 24 hours I'll be at the cinema,  impatiently waiting for the ads to end and the movie to begin!
  • snowhitiesnowhitie Member Posts: 3,078
    @LostInTranslation Enjoy!

Could you let me know afterwards if it is as suitable for children that watched the other ones? My son just turned 6 and watched the other 6 during the last year and it being Disney I guess it should be okay. I don't want to just look around online because I don't want any spoilers. Since I like your reviews of Lego-sets, I trust your judgement ;)

I'm back from my screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and I thoroughly enjoyed it, I would rank it besides Star Wars (1977) and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1980.)

My husband built the gingerbread house (It looks really cute) and I built Santa's visit. Anything to keep the children in from the awful heat outside.

To all those going to see TFA , May you all enjoy it as much as I did. Currently planning on splurging any christmas funds on the new Falcon set. And trying out excuses to justify Ren's shuttle and the Tie Fighter.

They are very easy to make is you have a mould. Going to try yellow coloured white chocolate next.  makes the tempering process harder mind, and they will be naked!
