So apparently I have somehow missed the first Barnes and noble event for my region.  I thought it was this weekend.  I'm going to try to see if any of the local Barnes and nobles have any leftover cards, but would anyone be willing to part with an extra copy of the cards?  Depending on the locations and weekends for future events, id be tempted to beg for a set of all of the cards from all three events.  I was looking forward to bringing my 3 year old to these but now I'm not even sure if any of the stores in my area are participating.  I would be happy to compensate you for your efforts.  Say a couple of random polybags from my stash?

When Robin is trying on suits in Batman's wardrobe, one of them is called comic con exclusive or similar :hehe:.

Recently picked up "The Batman Movie: The Essential Guide" and noticed a number of prominent pictures of vehicles not released in first wave:
    • Scarecrow's Scarecopter
    • Two-Face's Wrecking Truck
    • Harley's Cannon Truck
    • Bane's 6 Wheeler
    • The Batwing "Black Thunder"
The first seems linked to #70913. The other 4 could be linked to #70914, #70915, #70916 and #70917?

The one vehicle currently released that's not in the book was #70911 "The Penguin Arctic Roller". Was that originally a second wave release?

What's the chance that we get a large #D2c set for "Wayne Manor" which is also prominent in the book! :) Pretty please!! :D

The Brick Fan has confirmed a TRU building event. Oddly, the build is called Emmet's Bat-Car, but I think it's an excellent parts pack. Here's more info:

Well it is Emmet's car with wings, so the name makes sense.

Perhaps Emmet has a cameo appearance in the film & Batman borrows his car

I still wish they made the first batwing from the lego movie. Out of all of those sets they produced, they didn't make it.

This new batwing could be pretty good, I'll probably get it. This batmobile is really boring to me for some reason though. But did get the low rider and probably gonna get a couple more. Clay face for sure!

Spoilers from a clip just released...

So a new clip shows Batman using Robin to break in somewhere to steal a projector. It seems to be stolen from The Fortress of Solitude. I bet the Dimensions charcters in the film show up when Batman uses it (probably erroneously) and accidentally opens a portal to the Dimensions dimension. Hence, more villians from all sorts of places. Hey, maybe Lego Movie Batman teams up with Lego Dimensions Batman, since they are separate entities!

Leading up to the release of the movie, Warner Bros. Animation has been releasing some awesome marketing materials, like the behind the scenes featurette from within the world of LEGO Gotham City. Now we get one more video from the LEGO universe in the form of a segment inspired by MTV’s Cribs, featuring Bruce Wayne (who totally isn’t Batman) and Batman (who totally isn’t Bruce Wayne) giving us a tour of their mansion.

Here's what is in the Lego Batman Movie Maker set. I think the stand looks nice and very functional.

Just got out of the cinema.

Is TLBM better than TLM? Nah, TLM is literally the perfect film and although this gets close, it still can't beat how perfect TLM was.

Is TLBM better than every other batman movie prior to this? 110% YES. Quality-wise this film kicks BvS firmly in the nads.

Just... go see it. You deserve this film.

@CapnRex101 Any suggestions for which Batman movies to rewatch, or at least which ones to prioritize? I might not have a chance to watch them all prior to seeing TLBM later in the week.

The Walmart event is not going well.. at least over half of the stores listed are not participating and did not come

I just hope the movie doesn't turn out to be just like the lego movie where a bunch of people are controlling them.

Watched the movie yesterday.  Very funny in parts but seemed to drag on towards the end.  Ran out of ideas to stretch a movie really and just 1 long advert.  Kids enjoyed it though.

This review has some light spoilers

I enjoyed the movie but the majority of the Batman villains had virtually nothing to do and had no character to them. A handful of solid characters would have helped upped the comedy.

I was disappointed that there was not a tie in to the The Lego Movie
