2017 Calendar promotion?

So, I'm trying to decide which promotion I'm going to go after.....  I'm somewhat tempted with the calendar (though the Black Friday snow globe has me really interested!)
So what I'm wondering what did the calendar offer in the past?

I only got the 2016 calendar: http://i.imgur.com/JXN7uxE.jpg (image from the web, not mine).

    Jan-Mar - #30472 Parrot
    Apr-Jun -  Self explanatory
    Jul-Sep - #5004390 King's Guard

Personally, if I had to choose between the calendar and the snowglobe, I would get #40223 Snowglobe... but I am getting both :-)

Rumor is the calendar will be devoid of freebie coupons this time. Could be wrong on that though.

I also heard that there are no coupons in the calendar, and also the pictures are just line drawings so kids can color them.

Wow, the potential for no coupons...that's a game changer.

$75 minimum purchase and no coupons?! No calendar for me then... rather get another snowglobe.

Yeah - no coupons is a deal breaker....

Yup though the PAB wall is not as good as it used to be.....  I remember horses on the PAB wall and other great goodies!

The PAB box was amazing, easily the best promo.

Used to have the old dog molds as well, also old parts like 1x4x3 window frames with shutter tabs AND the shutters as well, 1x4x3 Trans clear panels, and even newer parts like 1x2 masonry brick, and the new horse designs as well (which I will be surprised if that ever appears in the wall again).
Some good parts do appear thanks to their PaB models, but since they stopped letting employees submit part orders for the wall it has gone downhill.

As for the new calendars not having coupons.. I know it sounds short sighted, but to me I just think 'what is the point then?'

If I get one it will be incidental, but I will not be trying to get one.

Yup. .. They had them on and off about 4 or 5 years ago.  Limit was 4 in a cup.... Then 2.... Then 1.... One time I was allowed as many as I could fit.... I can't remember how many I got into Tue big one but it definitely was more then 4 :)

I found horses at the NYC Flatiron store 2 years ago. Filled three big cups with them and nobody complained. The sales guy even asked if I had lowered their heads in order to fit more.

the limitation might have been on a store by store basis ;)

[UK] I got a sticker from my Lego store on my receipt last weekend for a free calendar, but I have to go back to collect one when they are in! (£180 in store purchase though!)

Wow... Europe got vouchers ?  Thanks god that when I got mine I also got another free snowglobe

12 vouchers is a substantial difference. Lego will likely have these offers or something similar in the US, just not announced thru a calendar.

    That's the hope.

Previous US calendars had a couple of vouchers whittled down to three and now, none.
