I'm kinda curious about the extras it contains. Which tru did you go to and did you find the Cole boxed minifig by any chance?

I'd like to say they were, but with TRU adjusting RRPs I don't know.

I just saw this today as well.  They are the same price.  Actually, cole's vehicle is 20% off right now so like $32.

Saw these when I went to get the Frankenstein build at TRU today. (The build was smaller than it looked.)

I just got Rock Roader with "Extra Awesome included". It didn't ring up correctly, it was supposed to be 20% off. I had to ask for them to adjust it. It actually has a different set number and doesn't show up in the Brickset database. It is 66548 rather than 70589.

@Tkatt if you open that set I would be interested in what the extra stuff looks like if you wouldn't mind posting a pic.

I took pictures of everything included. I'll post them all for now, but if it slows down the page load too much I can delete some.

And finally a reason to get my jean jacket out of storage.

The Wu-Cru symbol is an iron on patch.
Pretty neat contents! It's a shame I've already bought both the sets that come as "Extra Awesome" editions, because as cool as this stuff is (and as great as it is to get so much extra for the same RRP as the set is normally), it's not enough to make me want to buy a duplicate of a set I already have. There is a similar "Extra Awesome" edition of Axl's Tower Carrier from LEGO Nexo Knights, but again, I already have the normal edition.

For anyone who's wondering, Wu-Cru is a section of the Ninjago site with quizzes, games, and building challenges you can complete to unlock badges and downloadable prizes: https://www.lego.com/en-us/ninjago/wu-cru Some of the prizes are really cool, like posters and PDFs of concept art from various seasons of the show!

Does anyone know what the extras are for the Nexo Knights set?
