Snowhitie's Brickset Bonusball Bonanza 29/10/2016

In the grand tradition of BendyBadger and all the other volunteers during his study-holiday, I'm honoured to host this weeks Bonusball Bonanza.

I had a look and it seems there are still 1353 people who want this set so, this weeks prize is:#75032: X-Wing Fighter.

I'm sure you are all familiar with the concept, but for those newbies out there, the first 59 people to enter and provide an answer to this week's question are attributed a number (from 1-59 duh) and the number that get's picked in tomorrow's Bonus Ball UK raffle is the one that will win aforementioned prize.

Now, you want a question you say? Okay, here goes, imagine you can live in any Lego-universe you want, past or present, which one would it be and why (please don't ignore the why part that's the most fun). It doesn't have to be your favourite theme, for example my son choose 'Scooby-Doo' since he loves solving mysteries and my husband wants to live in 'City' since if his house is on fire there will be lots of firefighters around.

Good luck all!

Modular. The only bad thing about it is that everyone would have the same facial expression

Heart lake city for sure. I'd have a yacht for sure and probably own a hot air balloon and live in a lighthouse.

Star Wars universe! It would be a galaxy far far away from Lepin :)

Modular city. As William says, everyone is always happy there!

There'll be plenty of stores available including a nice private (well yes, 6 seats!) cinema :) I might even get to see those old retired sets in real life then - not likely to happen any time soon in this world.

Thanks for picking up the bonus ball bonanza :)

The universe from "The Man Upstairs". There will be order, structure, and everything in its place. But no Kragle required, as no kids allowed anyway!

And thanks for organising @snowhitie, but whilst we know the universes your family would chose, you did not disclose your choice ;)

    I have two!

    1. Classic Space: Exploring the vast universe in a cool black suit without a visor and with a broken chinstrap in my slick spacecraft with lovely blue colors!

    2. Classic Castle: Definitely Wolfpack...living in a castle with a spook and trying to hoard goldchests from those rich kings. Oh and also having a grey parrot is just tha bomb!

DC Superheroes, in particular the Batman theme.  Why?  Because Batman's the best and his villains are the most interesting!

Lego Movie, just got back from my Mexican holiday today (been up 22 hours thanks to the time difference and not sleeping on the plane, trying to go to bed at a normal time later) so i'd have to be the minifig with the Sombrero, the poncho and a big pile of Mexican cheese. I did have a bit of Mexican cheese, had far more Dos Equis beer and Margaritas (the only paletable way to take tequila).

Classic castle theme - set right next to the Ewok village.  That way I get to ride my horse through the woods!

Fabuland because everyone is insanely happy and everything is fabulously colourful. Also, everyone is employed and has a purpose in life. Plus they drive cool red scooters.

Either Forestmen- Wolfpack era Castle. Elves is a close runner up for having dragon pets.

Probably The Lego Movie so I could visit all the different universes, or Dimensions for the same reason.

I guess that's cheating a bit, but being able to travel between them all would be pretty cool.

Nexo Knights! A medieval theme that kind looks high-tech, plus magic!

Marvel Superheroes with the hope I too could become a Lego Superhero, that or convince Stark to let me use one of his old armours.

The Creator series of homes, they look so cozy. Of course I would have to invest in furniture and flooring since the lawns extend into the homes.

    Ninjago because dragons.

Or Classic Space because I wanted to live there when I was 10.

Paradisa since it is always warm and sunny there.  Enjoying the rain here, very much today, but, as a fantasy....

Easy: Adventurers! A great Indiana Jones 'rip-off' which was still very fresh with great sets and atmosphere.

I'd pick the Star Wars universe as well. Traveling space and meeting new civilizations would be awesome. Plus I like to think I could have been a Jedi.

The Lego Movie. Because you don't have to be a master builder to bring a creative and cool idea to life. That couch makes sense to me :-)

Classic SPace!  By far the most playable in my opinion and a reminder of the countless hours I spent as as a kid imagining an entire universe!

It would have to be Star Wars, I'd get to own a Lightsaber and being a clumsy git (my wife's words not mine), if i cut of one of my limbs with it i could just replace it. The added bonus is I would be in the 1 place that was guaranteed to have a UCS Falcon. I'd just have to brush up on my sabacc skills to win it.

Fabuland. As for why...uh, why not? In that world, I'd imagine we'd be the pets. Any pet I've had has had a pretty nice life...eat, play, sleep, repeat.

Star Wars... and specifically Cloud City!

I always liked the idea of being a cyborg, hence my Avatar

Harry Potter. There'd be magic, dragons, and if it all got a bit much I could just live as a muggle and put up with doing things the mundane way! :D

I've never watched any of the show, but I would say Ninjago if there was a possibility I could pilot a giant mech.

I'd like to live in the classic castle era, partly because it takes me back to my youth and, well, who wouldn't want to be able to sit inside a horse and throw spears at things? Also, castles are awesome.

My only disappointment would be that sausages wouldn't have been invented yet.

    Good question!!

Classic Castle for me.  I started with City and Space when I was very young, but soon moved onto all things medieval!  Ah, to live in *the* Yellow Castle!!!

Thanks for hosting this week @snowhitie ; I'm a little jealous that all draws after mine (and @joel4motion ) got to put their own names in the title, whilst we honoured the Badger (well, I tried to if it wasn't for bloody auto-correct!!! :)

    Good luck everyone!
