Some of the nice SW deals I encountered over the weekend. Since al lot of webshops (BE+NL) and brick&mortar shops (in BE) had a major LEGO Star Wars sale over the last few days this might be a coordinated campaign to sell excess stock in the retail channel. Even the signage is similar:

    Comparing MrBricks.nl and Fun.be:

    Anyway, on to the deals:

Most of best offers are no longer available online but can still be found in retail stores.
    Still available on-line:
    #75102 Poe's X-wing for 45 EUR
#75151 Clone Turbo Tank 75 EUR
I'ts wort to check the stores themselves though. The one I visited still had Turbo Tanks, Kyno Ren&Krennic Shuttles, Tie strikers, Phantoms and Rey's Speeders.

(Apologies for the crap phone pics)

If you're in East/West Flanders, check Suprabazar. Mine had the Resistance X-Wing for 45 EUR (which I bought) but also #75151 Clone Turbo Tank and #75151 Rex's AT-TE for 65 EUR. Not in the market for those - have to draw the line somewhere.

Also a nice offer is #75532 for 18 EUR, almost 75% off:

Bart Smit and Brickshop.nl had this set on offer for the very same price (and sold out quickly) further supporting the claim this is a coordinated sell-off.

    Makroshop.be:
Most of the offers sold out (like the 7,74 EUR SW battle packs) are sold out. 2 nice offers remain:

#75171 Battle on Scarif for 30,99 EUR
    #75172 Y-Wing for 42,47 EUR
Prices include delivery to Belgium as Makroshop apparently takes the price before discount into account to compare against their free shipping treshold.

Dreamland is doing it too, some sets available online but my husband was just on the shop and all these are half price (there wasn't a sign yet but the salesperson told him), you si need an extra card.

After a lot of thinking we didn't buy anything cause we've already got everything we really wanted and with all the cool sets and a limited budget this year, not the time to buy doubles for the bricks ;)

Still, might be useful for someone!

Wow, just checked the Dreamland webshop. 39.47 € for #75156 Krennic's Imperial Shuttle, a 64% discount on the 109.99 € RRP. Amazing deal.

#75145 Eclipse Fighter for € 18,47 - Ordered one considering it's a nice spaceship with a cool mechanism in the "presents pool" range.

#75158 Rebel Combat Frigate is also eligible for a 50% discount. I noticed Dreamland has no issue delivering 99 of them - the max quantity you're allowed to order online. Again proof that a lot of Star Wars sets remain in the retail channel.

@kerre they might call you up when you try and order 99 though. They called me up a couple of years ago when I ordered 2 of certain things to make sure it was for my own use.

The eclipse fighter is indeed a pretty fun set, we got that one and the star scavenger cause my son liked the freemaker series.

  • snowhitiesnowhitie Member Posts: 3,078
It does say in the small print the discount is only on one box (I'm guessing of each kind).

    Promotiecode
: 50% korting b.a.v. één bouwdoos uit deze selectie van LEGO Star Wars - € 39,48

  • KerreKerre Member Posts: 412
@snowhitie: Don't worry. I'm not going to order 99 Combat Frigates. No room to store. :D
Will have too look into Freemaker Adventures now - is there a Flemish language version on somewhere? And thanks for the deal tip!

@Aleydita: I can still see 6 Eclipse fighters, 13 Shuttles and at least 99 Combat Frigates available:

That's likely standard Colruyt/Okay/Dreamland etc wording. It means you only have to buy one to benefit from the promo as opposed to "buy minimum 3 cans of soup, get 33% discount"-type deals.

Had no problem ordering 2 Eclipse fighters.
  • AleyditaAleydita Member Posts: 955
Odd. For me, the first two show as 50% off and the last as full price :)
  • snowhitiesnowhitie Member Posts: 3,078
@Kerre we watch it in English, my son in bilingual so I just bought the DVDs from Amazon, not sure if that's in Dutch too, can check later.

I quite enjoyed it too, its humour is a bit like droid tales but with much more of a story line and you really want to know what's going to happen. There are also inside jokes kids might not necessarily get (re afol or detail in the SWfilms). In one episode they meet Luke as well, it kind of interweaves with the OT timeline.

If you (and your kids?) start watching it, you might want to get that star scavenger at half price too then ;) it spilts up into different ships without breaking apart and it's really cleverly done. You get all the main characters if you get the eclipse and the scavenger.

We haven't watched the second season yet, but the first one is pretty stand alone (I mean, the story arc comes to an end so no annoying cliffhanger).

  • snowhitiesnowhitie Member Posts: 3,078
^ sorry didn't mean to tempt you into buying extra stuff. My dvd isn't in Flemish (or even in Dutch) but I guess they might show it on the Disney channel at some point.
  • KerreKerre Member Posts: 412
^^ My boys are (almost) seven and four respectively - still a bit too young to follow series in other languages than Flemish/Dutch. Tried it with Rebels but they could not follow what was happening and lost interest.  I'll check it out in English though.

It seems to be very difficult to buy Lego series on DVD with Flemish/Dutch language tracks other than Nexo Knights; I've been looking for Ninjago for quite a long time. Never seen it on anything other some promo DVD's.

Oh, and Dreamland just called to check whether I did indeed intended to order two Eclipse Fighters :D Wasn't an issue though.

Related: LEGO uploaded the Flemish version of The Resistance Rises to Youtube two days ago

Auchan in Luxembourg has #76057 Spider-Man Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge Battle for EUR 53.
Boxes are a bit battered and have a discount sticker on them that is almost impossible to get of clean. But not a bad price if you are buying the set to build.

Little heads-up for the Dutchies, Belgians and others travelling in NL; the toystore of Otten (Otten2, the one specialising in amongst others Lego) in Den Bosch city centre now features a small PaBwall (or really a column with some trays).

€9,99 for a milkshake cup full of bricks. Am very sure that part of what they offer is used, as all the LBG was heavily discoloured(so I didn't get any).
Bought some darker-coloured bricks that might fit my Winter Villages MOC's (they had a LOT of dark blue bricks, of which I had the understanding are quite rare?):

Asked the guy behind the counter about the used bricks and he said they bought some bulk bricks and sell those as a kind of try-out (so probably everything is used); am unsure about the price/value-ratio at this price.

Also, the new Bricksworld-shop in Heerlen will feature a PaB-wall larger then the one in the Berlin LegoStore when it opens at the end of next month; am very curious about that. Anyone planning on visiting this store?
  • sid3windrsid3windr Member Posts: 1,460
The store in Gouda has a nice PaB wall with nice bricks in it, all new, too. I saw an ad for the one in Heerlen and the wall looked big. Will get there at some point, but no time planned...

I re-opened my BO store today in order to shift some sets I want rid of. Will offer free shipping for Benelux and a 15% discount if you buy more than one lot (send me a message and I'll issue a coupon). Take a look: http://ras.brickowl.com/

Kruidvat.be is having 25% off on their selection - smaller sets typically. Today only. Was too late again for #60150 pizza van :(
  • sid3windrsid3windr Member Posts: 1,460
Free shipping as well. But most of them are indeed sold out, I only saw it an hour ago as well. The new little friend sets are available though, but I actually normally would use them as filler to get to 55€ at S@H so... :P

Hmm just found out that some of the Earth-blue pieces I picked up are quite rare...
The 4 (or even 6, unsure) Brick-With-Bow 4519933 even only appear in 3 sets, 2 of them being #10182 Cafe Corner and #10187 the original VW Beetle... (and #8893 Bionicle).

Almost had to be a #10187, as they also had a bunch of medium blue brick too (also took some of those).

Also found 2 4209433 and 4596065, only included in #4841 Hogwarts Express and 1 more set each.

The wall element round 4654111 in Dark Orange also only appeared in two sets, 2 Space Shuttle sets from 2010 and 2011.

Quite chuffed with that, and left wondering who would part out these sets...

Toys R Us de and Nl both have TLBM minifigures (#5004939) for sale for 15 euro, or free with purchase of 40 euro of Lego (!you do have to add it to your basket). This is availble untill the 10th of September, one per customer. I've just placed my first order with toysrusnl. Delivery is 1.95 (to BE and NL) but that's waived for a purchase of 40 euro at the moment.

Toys R Us have the next set of minifigs up, #5004940 (since Monday, but I only just thought of it. It's the city ones. Don''t think I'll get those, but I fancy the Ninjago ones.

Anyway, for those who want them, it's the same system as with the Batman ones.

The Batman ones seem to be the only ones the entire world is after... What week are the Ninjago ones coming? Could indeed be the second interesting pack...
  • stluxstlux Member Posts: 2,450
@sid3windr The Ninjago ones are Sept 25 - Oct 01.

I was only interested in the Batman ones, and ordered those as soon as they showed up on the TRU website! I'll likely let the other ones pass me by.

^ I didn't. Really couldn't add more than one to my bag so can't help you there. Maybe someone who went to fysical store?

They'll be available in October in the UK and the us, maybe someone can help you then.

In a clear case of package deal envy - see the #5005410 Ninjago Movie Ultimate Mech kit and #5005412 Nya Battle Kit package deals on offer at the LEGO shop -  Dreamland.be is offering #70607 Ninjago City Chase and #70608 Master Falls together for 34,99€.

#70608 Master Falls' RRP is 34,99€ on its own here in BE so you effectively get a #70607 Ninjago City Chase (RRP 19,99€) for free. Pretty good value if you're after both sets.

Kruidvat only carries smaller sets as discussed previously and their LEGO selection in stock did take a hit during the last 15% off sale though.

Hi all, I've some family going to Belgium the end of the month and they will be taking a trip to the lego store for me. Is there an up to date pick a brick wall contents list somewhere? Or if someone is going perhaps a few quick photso/ video going along the wall would help? Much appreciated!

I figured this was the most appropriate place to ask.

Was there the other week, a bit of a naff wall in all honesty. Flower stems without flowers...? Nice to see reddish brown chairs instead of the red ones though. I'd love them to offer 1 x 1 plates.

1x1 plates are almost right up there with DBG 2x2 tiles and 1x1 trans light blue round plates as "Let me quickly fill a few large cups" ... ;)

Did anyone manage to order the TRU exclusive Ninjago minifigs (#5004938) this morning?

Checked a bit after 8:00 and they were "temporarily unavailable" on both TRU DE and TRU NL. Since the Batman ones were "temporarily unavailable" the day after they were available I'm worried the Ninjago ones are all gone already.
  • snowhitiesnowhitie Member Posts: 3,078
@kerre I've been trying too.maybe we were too early? Maybe after 10? It's only the first day and can't imagine then being as popular as the batman ones.

Thanks for letting me know @snowhitie, shared pain is lessened.

Having them available after 10:00 seems ridiculous to me but then this is TRU we're talking about. TRU cutomer service is also not available before 10:00 either or I'd have given them a call.

Gave TRU a call, already sold out.

CS only spoke English and no Dutch at all BTW. That's when calling a Dutch CS phone number in the 020 zone (Amsterdam as any Dutch person knows).
  • snowhitiesnowhitie Member Posts: 3,078
^ that's crazy! They were only available drum today right? Thanks for letting us know @Kerre.

Pain shared is pain halved I guess but still, really wanted these!

Yep @snowhitie, only available from today. Would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

Really wanted to get hold of these as well, especially the white Nindroid and Neuro.

There might be still some hope however - mixed messages in the relevant  promobricks comments here (in German). A recent message mention system issues, even though others got the same response from TRU CS as I was given (sold out). Also, there seems to be availability, though limited, in stores.

I've been checking TRU DE and NL periodically today work and travel permitting (about to board a plane). Since this is TRU, I did not allow myself to count on getting the figs beforehand because of the bad experiences with them in the past.
