I don't know if that's just sarcasm but I'm a SW fan not a professed expert.

I was referring to the SW Commander gam (App) which I used to play.
It transfers soldiers to the front lines. I hadn't seen it before until the game and then the miniatures board game.

Considering ahsokas current status is it possible she will have her figure in another set? Or should I pick up one now as the only set shes currently in is retiring soon?

^ Where have you seen that? I can't see anything to suggest that. S&H UK/US doesn't show retiring soon label although that doesn't mean it's true.
Just asking as need to pick it up at some point and waiting for some sort of discount.

I heard that too. And as it's a TRU exclusive, it's literally not been on sale anywhere. Good luck getting this anywhere under £100. TRU have even put the price up to match Lego direct.

#75158 Rebel Combat Frigate has been tagged as "Retiring Soon" on S@H US since at least since Jan 25. Indeed no such tag on S@H EU yet. Might be the next SW Rebels set after #75150 Vader's TIE Advanced vs. A-wing Starfighter with a short shelf life.

I ordered mine yesterday from S@H to qualify for the TLBM poly and make sure I don't miss this set.

I Just went by #75025 Jedi Defender-class Cruiser. Although that one was out slightly longer but lingered at TrU for some time and has been discounted by 30% during it's availability and even more once it was retired.

Picked up a copy of the latest SW magazine. Micro Ghost is dinky cool! looks like the Rebels theme is continuing with a combat driver.

This sounds dark and depressing but I hope kallus does. I honestly love his character but to let him escape seems like it would detract from Thrawns efficiency as a leader. Thrawn quite clearly knows its him and I dont see kallus having a place in the rebellion going forward (can't see him on the ghost or as a leader of the rebellion considering he isnt in the movies). Honestly? I don't think they'll kill him off. The feel I get from the show is that they'll have one of those infiltrate and recover something from an imperial base/ship and escape as they seem to have one of those every season.

Off topic, but I recently picked up TCW and I really like it so far.  I'm partway through the third season.  I tried to stick to OT only for Lego collecting, then included Rebels, and then Rogue One, but now I want to go back and get some TCW minifigs, if not entire sets.  Cad Bane and Embo at the very least, they look like they'd fit in with the regular minifigs.  It's also made me want an updated Hondo, he's such a great character.  Watching through TCW now also sorta makes me regret selling off my Hasbro clone army a few years ago :) .

On topic, I've really enjoyed the last two episodes, and I'd really like it more if there aren't any more breaks for the rest of the season like the schedule suggests.  That new Phantom set is nice too, I'm surprised I like the Kanan minifig probably as much as Thrawn.  Speaking of Thrawn...

Nice to see solid confirmation of him figuring Kallus out.  Like Jackad7, as much as I like the character, I think it'd be much better if Kallus is killed off and I hope they don't play it safe and keep him alive.  Also cool to see Yularen; I don't recall if he's been on Rebels yet, but now I need to go back and get the poly to keep up on the named characters for this subtheme!

Edit: I forgot I'm still missing Ahsoka and Sato.  That's a dilemma, I don't really want the whole set but Ahsoka is going for stupid prices on her own.

Also got an ebay notification that my second hand, very dusty, but still complete Wookie Gunship has finally shipped!

Just grabbed my #75158 the other day from TRU's eBay site, where I used the $10 off flash coupon to get it for $77.99 (pre-tax). Probably the best deal for getting the exclusive set. That's why TRU exclusives are a bummer... One can usually find a good discount at Wal-Mart or Target, but hardly ever at TRU! Anyhow, the price was good enough considering the set's status. And having Sato and Ahsoka is kinda essential for a Rebels collection! Makes me wished I had gotten a copy of the Ghost when it came out. Oops.

As for the most recent episode, I though it was good. Really shows the great mind of Thrawn, not only of discovering the mole but then deciding to use him to their advantage rather than arrest and execute him. I'm excited to see where the rest of Season 3 goes.

Thrawn is a beast. Great character to utilize in this season. Wonder what his Achilles' heel is.

I hated Kallus but now I realize what situation he has put himself in. Still don't like him but he's aiding the resistance and that's always good.

Can't wait to build the Phantom II (just have to finish sorting my Bionicle haul).

^True. I wonder what weakness he has. He needs a weakness, otherwise he can't be... Well, I was gonna say human, but he is a Chiss! He wouldn't be realistic without at least one weakness. He has been a great character though.

This last episode was really good.  I thought that Gold 2, the female Y-Wing pilot, might've been in Rogue One, helping to disable the Star Destroyer.  Their helmets don't match though.

Now that MM has "triggered" the rebellion, it's going to be exciting to see dominoes fall. (How about those hyperspace jumps at the end! WOW!)

I don't remember if it was on here but I remember seeing someone who is somehow connected to the show say that we would formally see Ahsoka's fate in the upcoming season. I am hoping this means we might get a "Final duel " -esque set between Ahsoka and Darth Vader.

Just watched the latest episode and I am extremely satisfied! The Maul and Kenobi scene was well done and fresh, and the final scene of the episode really tied it in to the original trilogy. Lots of scenes similar to a new hope Tatooine which I was glad to see.

Had these out so thought I should post them. Haven't got the new phantom yet (or comic con sets ).Admiral Yularen was added after his recent rebels appearance.

 It is immediately obvious is the lack of Zeb minifigures - I have this one from the ghost but I think a S3 version with duel molding and arm/leg printing would do him justice. My other wants are 7th sister, 8th brother, S3 sabine and ezra, AP-5 and imperial disguise Chopper!

I liked the last episode, understanding what the point of it was without really having seen much of the Maul arc on TCW. I think I'm actually about to start in on those episodes in TCW Season 4.

About the next two episodes, I'm guessing the climax will have Sabine/Mandalorians bailing (what's left of) Phoenix Squadron  out of Thrawn's trap. Can't wait to see what actually goes down and how everything plays out up until Rogue One!

While I do see where you're coming from and agree to an extent, I still think it's much better "filler" than Double Agent Droid was.

I had kind of mixed feelings about the episode but they are hard to convey without spoilers so I'll abstain.

On the other hand I am really hoping this season ending isn't some big blowout on Thrawns power. They have been building his character the past season to be cunning and intelligent, to have him get blown out on a cliche revel victory would be VERY disappointing.
 I would like to see Sabine come in to rescue the ghost crew from an otherwise certain defeat but all around have the Phoenix squadron and supporting mandalorians sustain heavy losses.

Maul's death seemed kinda quick.

And I love how Obi-Wan was so confident he could beat Maul. Then again, Maul's half the Sith he used to be...

That's my main gripe. They build up the meeting and the fight last two seconds, and it's not clear how Obi-Wan killed Maul again.

^This.  Rebels Recon does a great job elaborating on why they ended Maul's story the way they did and I found it to be a sufficient enough explanation.

One thing I did not like were his last words "he will avenge us".  I get that was a parallel to Qui-Gon dying in Obi-Wan's arms but it just seemed out of place considering the vast majority of Maul's arc was hellbent revenge on Obi-Wan.  It would've made more sense for Maul to voice his dismay that it all ended so abruptly or even some remorse for how he'd acted rather than seemingly aligning himself with the Jedi with his last breath.

Although Maul focused a lot of rage towards Obi-Wan, throughout his return in the Clone Wars he came to hate the Sith and viewed them as his enemy and blamed them for manipulating him, this is a major theme in Rebels as well. His anger at Kenobi was as a result of the Sith's manipulation. I think it was a moment of realisation, Kenobi was never his true enemy just a tool manipulated into service the way he was, i think he seems himself and Kenobi as equals in his last moments, hence the comment.
Then again i have been known to read too much into things :)
