Is it too late to enter the number of steps questions?  Tactically, i noticed a large gap between:
167550    joel4motion
187000    masterX244
And therefore, as I reckon it'll be over 150,000 (66cm steps plus a few extra for stumbling (and not remebering if the podiatrist told you to take bigger or smaller steps (I'm sure it was smaller))) the guess that will give me the biggest chance of winning will be directly between these two.  So:
177,275

Okay, the total number of steps taken by me during the 100km walk was.......127,509.

For those interested in other useless information, I apparently burnt off 5,601 calories during those 23 hours (felt like more) and have lost about 5lbs in weight since I weighed myself after the walk despite eating like a horse during my week off work.  Go figure!?

My guess was based on a 60cm stride to include the reduced stride length due to tiredness and muscle fatigue, guess I should have gone for nearer 70cm

Now I'm curious what device @Legoboy uses to count his steps as extrapolating from what I currently use (MS Band 2) was only 0.4% off... And very impressed that with those toenail issues he still managed big steps!
