You can get the Dojo Pod with keychains, CMF and even older Ninjago sets/products. Really neat to get this one with a key chain.

EDIT: When I put CMF in my cart it won't add the freebie, but it works with a keychain.

For me (in the IE shop) adding a CMF worked to get the Dojo Pod.

Promobricks is usually right,  looks like we're being treated well for Force Friday!

Any word yet on promotions beyond the Force Friday ones? I can't seem to find a pdf calendar for september anywhere (in European online store websites). Some stores still offer the July/August calendar, or a placeholder image.

    15/9 -> 29/10: Lloyd minifig poly, in-store only, when buying >30€
15/9 -> 31/10: Ninjago keyring voucher from Calendar
    27/10 -> 31/10: Halloween voucher from Calendar

US is getting the VIP set (>$125 buy) and double points in october, let's hope and wait for EU...

Promobricks.de confirmed everything you said, which is kind of... disappointing (and not your fault obviously). So basically online shoppers don't have anything to look forward to for the next two months, say for the Dojo Pod with Ninjago purchases. This seems really odd...

It seems in store only is the new way of doing promotions. If so I'm done buying from [email protected] (We've no store here either!)

In some cases it's cheaper to buy sets from Amazon and the promo from bricklink or even ebay... so yea, there's that. I guess they want more people in the store and less people on the website.

On the Italian calendar the first Christmas freebie showed up, with a start date of October 22nd and a minimum purchase of €65. It's a Creator-esque advent calendar like we had last year.
    https://www.hothbricks.com/lego-40253-christmas-build-up-premier-visuel

I'd be surprised if we didn't get this one as well in the rest of Europe.

Would be nice to get a 24 in 1 again, if only as a parts pack.
Time/spending requirement might be different elsewhere in Europe though. Italy has Certified Stores only; their promotions don't line up 100% with the [email protected] ones.

I'm assuming we'll be getting it in October because:
    - without it the calendar for the next two months would be rather empty
    - November would be stuffed with the second freebie/Black Friday promo's
    - we received 40222 Holiday Countdown Calendar last year around the same time

I'm waiting for something like that in IE or UK to get the Apollo V... or a couple of Caterhams for investment (they won't be in stores for much longer, will they?)... or a modular.

But if LEGO doesn't give us some good [email protected] deals I'll just have to keep throwing money at Amazon.

I should check the previous one, I suppose it's mostly small pieces. the gingerbread house and snowglobe looked like good parts packs.

It looks like they ran out of the Dojo Pod promotional on the Belgian [email protected] and various other ones. So unless we're getting some unanounced promo's, the only freebie will be the store only Lloyd poly in the coming weeks.

Is it possible they'll offer the pod freebie again in the coming weeks? It was supposed to last until October 29th.

Free #30473 with any Juniors purchase. Online Only.
They put the wrong T&C on their website:(
  • stluxstlux Member Posts: 2,450
To summarize the October promotions already posted by others here/in other threads:
    • 15 Sept - 31 Oct: Free Ninjago keychain (#5004915 Wu Key Chain?) in exchange for calendar voucher 9 at a Lego Store; no purchase required
    • 02 Oct - 12 Nov: Free #30473 Juniors Racer when buying any Juniors product; no minimum purchase. Online only however
    • 10 Oct - 24 Oct: Double VIP points
    • 10 Oct - 24 Oct: Free #40178 VIP set when spending EUR125/GBP100 or more
    • 27 Oct - 31 Oct: Free Halloween surprise  in exchange for calendar voucher 10 at a Lego Store; no purchase required
(Note: Brickset and Hoth Bricks report Oct 10-25 for double VIP and #40178, with Promobricks reporting Oct 10-24. From a Tuesday to the Tuesday 2 weeks later, i.e. Oct 24, seems more likely?)

Not looking good for still getting #5004932 Travel Building Suitcase this year in Europe?
Also still waiting for dates for #30428 Green Ninja Mech Dragon, #40253 24-in-1 Christmas Build-Up 2017 and #40254 Nutcracker.

Well, seems everybody got the dates for 2x VIP wrong: it's only 1 week instead of 2. Oct 10 - 15.
The free #40178 VIP set action is Oct 10 - 25.

I went to the Wijnegem store this morning and wasn't sure which promotions they would offer. I was surprised to receive a Lloyd polybag, apparently they still have some stock of those. I also got the mini store and double VIP points.

For some reason I had this week in mind as the only week to combine those three promo offers.

Earlier this week I was in the UK and I will be off with the family for a long weekend starting tomorrow night. My window of opportunity was "this afternoon only" for combining the three promo's. I really wanted that Lloyd polybag so I called Wijnegem in advance; Staff was positive they still have a fair bit of stock.

Driving home from Brussels Airport I paid a very short visit to the Wijnegem LEGO store. Got me a #21310 + #40261 impulse buy with  freebies #30608 + #40178 and 2xVIP on top.

As for the #30428 Green Ninja Mech Dragon: @sid3windr pointed out dragons are found at the edge of the map. Unfortunately BeNeLux is at the centre of the world/sqeezed in between UK, France and Germany so it's unlikely they'll show up over here*.

*I have to rationalize us often getting the short end of the stick regarding polybag promos some way, dont I?

  • HumdrumHumdrum Member Posts: 71
Lego decided to make the Lloyd polybag available in their online shop. Minimum purchase of €30 Ninjago (movie) products required. Source is hothbricks: https://www.hothbricks.com/polybag-lego-ninjago-movie-30609-lloyd-enfin-offert-shophome/

This promo runs until October 29th, and just like the mini store poly you might need to refresh your basket to see it appear. Lego sure likes to keep customers on their toes it seems.

^There's another interesting offer at the end of that Hoth Bricks post. French chain Cultura.com offers a free #30428 Micro Green Ninja Dragon with any purchase of 19,99 € or more Ninjago sets. They still have the excellent #70601 for that price BTW.

Only makes sense if you're in France or near the French border as their shipping is horrendously expensive (7,5 € domestic/ 15 € Neighbouring countries) but they do have free in-store pickup. I hadn't heard of this "cultural goods" chain before but this sure is good for their visibility. Seems they opened a store in Roncq this week so I might consider them if they have good offers in the future.

I heard rumour, #40253 from October 31. No detailed info. Sorry....
  • sid3windrsid3windr Member Posts: 1,460

^ Would be nice - first rumour I heard about that one was "from 22/10" but that ship has sailed...

Then I did indeed read "1/11 with a $99 spend" which sounds like it'd be for US, and we all know TLG isn't all that synced up continent-wise. But it's a fair bet it'll be with a 99€ spend here, then... which is quite a bit higher than last year IIRC.

Same Brickset article also provided " #40254 Nutcracker will be free with a $99 spend over the Brick Friday weekend, 24-27 November."

Doesn't $99 usually 'translate' into €65? I could be wrong though, I don't keep copies of all pdf calendars. Either way, I'm not all that excited for the build-up or nutcracker promotion, so it's going to be an easy pass if the treshold is too high.

I am curious if we'll get another recoloured CMF in december, like last years Gingerbread minifig. And we still haven't gotten the travel suit case or the Lego tote bag promotions in Europe.

  • sid3windrsid3windr Member Posts: 1,460
65€ would be better and a more "normal" level for Lego indeed! I guess I'm just bitter about all the literal $ -> € translations in the world ;)

I'd like at least one of each... completist issue.
    Humdrum
  • HumdrumHumdrum Member Posts: 71
I did a google search and found out that the $99 purchase requirement was indeed converted to €65 for the snowglobe promotion last year. This was also the case with the 40222 Christmas build-up.

Nothing is set in stone of course, but a €34 price hike in a year and for similar promotions would be a bit steep I think.

Don't forget that voucher 11 (1st-12th November) is the mystery voucher which you need to go here for:

Redeemed voucher 10, they gave the option to choose a Duplo stuffed mascot or a nexo knights pod (has 2 vouchers, so i got both :) )

It seems the 24-in-1 calendar promo started today. Minimum purchase is €65 and it stacks with the VIP mini store promo (min. buy €125) today and tomorrow. The calendar promo runs until November 22th.

I don’t know if I should take advantage of this and get another mini store, or wait a few days and redeem voucher 11.
  • MattDawsonMattDawson Member Posts: 1,490
The mystery voucher is now live! You can get a copy of #30478 Jolly Santa with an order of a set from the special list.
    stluxHumdrum
  • stluxstlux Member Posts: 2,450
I personally don't think that Santa looks very good, and that's a rather expensive way of getting that poly... Only the #40174 Chess Set on that list is a Lego-exclusive, everything else can be had (much) cheaper elsewhere.

Will be unlikely that I'll redeem voucher #11

I agree, it's not a very tempting polybag. Luckely the Winter vignettes (40262 and 40263) also became available today. So I got a couple of those and the Yellow Submarine. That way I could get the 24-in-1 calendar and another VIP mini store set. Both are more interesting than the other promo's which are about to come in my opinion, I'm not a fan of the nutcracker tbh.

@scoiltreasa there doesn't seem to be an Irish [email protected] page for it, probably because you don't have a physical Lego Store. (same for Lux)

There's a workaround to get the calendar voucher 11 promo: although the promo page is limited to those countries with a brick-and-mortar Lego Store, the actual promotion is not.
When adding any of the sets listed on the site in the prior post to your basket, #30478 Santa Claus will be added as well. This seems to work for all EU [email protected] sites.

Still not a very tempting poly, but stacks with the Christmas 24-in-1 promo.

There is a picture available of that Darth Vader pod on several websites. Here is one: https://brickshow.com/2017/11/new-lego-star-wars-darth-vader-promotional-pod-spotted/
Considering that this promo doesn’t stack with others you might as well buy the Darth Vader transformation set during a double VIP promo and get the same minifig for less money.
  • sid3windrsid3windr Member Posts: 1,460
^ But we want the pods, not the figs! ;)

^^ For the US: "The Brick Friday offers [meaning the nutcracker] will also be available to VIPs the weekend before, 18-19 November, along with double VIP points.". Maybe this is also the case in EU.
