Sorry, I have the hair and the torso, but not the face! The sith infilitrator set has it, as well as Hermione - who knew?!

Andy, I 'may' have one, does she have to be mint?
  • atkinsaratkinsar Member Posts: 4,258
^ Thanks, no not really, good condition would be ok if you've got one.

Bit of background, it's for a friend's 7 year old daughter so I don't think she'd notice if it wasn't mint. A work colleague just came up and asked if I knew where to get a cheap HE, so I'm selling him one of mine from JL at cost, but his daughter thought Hermione came with it, but alas, she does not. Rather than risk a disappointed daughter on Xmas day, I said I'd try and source one for him. Thought I'd check the forum first before heading off to Bricklink.

Well the hair and torso are common, hair is about 18p at PAB so I bought a bunch for my city. I could add a PoP face? Will check other heads that she has, might have cross over, so would be mint

    ^ thanks Sav !

I will have a search, if I do have her she should be in a reasonable condition (from a bulk) and if I do then you can have her, all for a good cause (happy kids at Christmas is a good cause as far as I'm concerned!).

Yeah, nice one Geoff. I'll take a look what I've got kickin' around too in case he doesn't have one.

I'm looking for a chrome gold c-3po. I thought it came with the advent calendar and don't want my err... child to be disappointed. Anyone got a spare? ;-)

Did I mention that I thought 4842 came with a Professor Trelawney minifigure? I was absolutely devastated when there wasn't one there... Does anyone have a spare they would be only too delighted to donate?

    ;o)

@LostinTranslation That's happened a couple of times to me. You write a post, then click to post it. Two appear, so you edit the second to [double post] etc, then leave the thread. Actually the second was never really there (very strange I know) so the first has been edited, and the original post is no more. I'm thinking it could be the auto refresh @rocao, maybe we should disable that again?

Yes! Thanks @Matthew, I thought it was just me being a muppet (hard to believe I know, but does happen on occasion :o) It's very very annoying.

Case in point: it did it again! But I'm on to you now, Brickset gremlin, so I shan't fall into your trap....

What I do when it's acting funky is to go to the main discussion page and come back to the thread.

    @atkinsar, sorry fella :(
Somehow my bulk contained 7 Harry's and 4 Ron's but no Hermione! :(
Feel bit bad now as I wanted to help.

I haven't had chance to look, sorry. I've been on my soapbox, and really have to do some work now. I'll try and look later.

^^ I wouldn't say no to a Ron. Anything you fancy?

    Really sorry @atkinsar, I don't have a spare.
  • MinifigsMeMinifigsMe Member Posts: 2,844
@atkinsar - do you have a ton of the lab and trolly polys? it's that torso that you linked. I can send you the hair if you like. And possibly a PoP head.
  • HuwHuw Administrator Posts: 7,076
@Atkinsar, I can do you the torso and head from http://www.brickset.com/minifigs/?m=hp054, with the hair from hp095, all brand new. Is that any good?
  • LostInTranslationLostInTranslation Member Posts: 5,572
Huh. I also appear to be short on Hermiones. Only one in uniform and one in civvies, so not really spare I'm afraid. Sorry! Looks like you'll be able to cobble something together though :)

I should be able to find you a spare torso and legs from Hermione, Andy, if Caroline sends you the hair and Caroline/Huw sends the head.

Think this is going to cumulatively cost more in postage then just getting the fig. Either @huw or I can prob do a complete fig. Send me your address please @atkinsar

I have a new one. PM me if you're still after one.
  • atkinsaratkinsar Member Posts: 4,258
Thank you very much everyone for your help, it's one of the things that makes this forum great. Sav, I think you're right, getting parts of frankeniome from different people is probably not the most efficient way of doing things. As roxio has offered a complete new minifig, I'll try that avenue first. Again, thanks for all the offers, it really is very much appreciated.
