@greekmick do you know if the outer case can be unscrewed and the items taken out and displayed without the case?

With the newer model boxes, the plastic is normally one piece and you'd have to destroy the case to liberate the glued-together pieces.

I had one of these recently.  It was relatively easy to get the case apart but the models had
a) been glued together, and
b) screwed into place in the display

I ended up taking it apart and giving the Lego to one of my colleagues for his son as the case was just too big to display.
