Did you order it from lego directly? As someone could have opened it in a shop if not, did you check if it was damaged at all?

If I worked at lego customer service I'd find your request highly suspicious, so be prepared to give evidence.

The fact that you have Santa Yoda missing (the only redeemable collector's value to the calendar) makes the whole thing smell of theft. I'm not familiar with the box (having not purchased a calendar this year) but I'd suspect it may have been previously tampered with. Each mini model is packaged seperately... and I wouldn't look past how common in-store petty theft is.

I once saw a Lego Stop Motion camera discounted $10... because the included Cop and Robber minifigures had been taken from the package!!! I'm serious, someone actually risked getting caught by the police for a pair of generic chinese plastic renditions of City minifigs!

I once bought a SW battle pack with the figs missing. I'm pretty confident it was a result of theft.

Saw one at TRU today with a "reduced" tag on it because it too was missing the Santa Yoda. Their "reduced" price was $44.99 and NO further discounts applied...

Interesting, since they are selling for $29.99 now.
