Understanding technic lego parts

I am trying to understand the length of the following parts for set 8851:

5102c15
5102c30
5102c50
5102c05

If anyone can help with this it would be much appreciated.

    The names have a <x>l in them, where x refers to the length in LEGO units (the width of a 1x1 brick) 

    So, the c15 one will be the length of a 15 stud brick (if there was such a thing)

    Depending what you need remember that it can be cheaper to buy a longer one and cut it up.
