Not sure if entering is still open but in 2010 I broke my skull (laceration required 52 stitches), a shattered pelvis, broke 5 ribs, and lost all recall for roughly 4 months after being hit by a train.
Jeez now that sounds more than a little gnarly. Need some more story on this one. Are you ok now

I feel bad liking posts about injuries. Oh and by the way. The prize this week is a mystery prize!

Me too, but I think of it as showing sympathy / solidarity, rather than an *actual* like... or is that just me?

@SumoLego seemed to be getting better at entering however in all fairness you did shift the time a little did you not?  lol poor Sumo!
If the Bonus Ball ends up being number 88, I would happily donate it to @Legoboy.

I really need to find a different job.  The clients conspire against me on Fridays!

If I win, give it to @Legoboy. If I lose, give it to @SumoLego. :D
Everybody is a comedian.  Although, this made me laugh.
You mean another job where you make a polybag every other minute? Or do I misunderstand how much Lawyers make a year.
  • monkeyhangermonkeyhanger Member Posts: 3,169
Does that mean it would've been Bumblepants? Congrats to both, What was the prize in the end?

Let me put it this way - yes and no.

That makes it simple, right?  I'll be sending you a bill for three polybags.

Prize is a mystery Prize that I hope James will enjoy and maybe show on here.  Very different than the Mystery prizes that I donated though he will be glad to hear.

Did I make it in time? I trod on a Lego brick once. Probably as bad as being struck by lightning, it really hurt!

After seeing what horrible things @Bendybadger considers prizes last night I am more than happy to pass it on. People really put that Marmite stuff into their digestive system on purpose?!?!?

That is surprisingly tasty. About 15 years ago with my nephew we invented marmalite sandwiches. One side marmalade and one side marmite, stick them together and what have you got? Delicious. Bananamite was also a favourite.

@MattsWhat perhaps I should have phrased that better. It is quite large so I'll have to be sewn back together once they chop it out.
Six stitches and cyst about the size of a golf ball if anyone was wondering. Still nothing compared to some of the tales above.

This is where marmite and marmalade come from... so think twice about what you put on your toast.

Given as I'm convinced that the stuff is poison, that would consist of one spoonful... ;)

Can I ask what you used for the straps around the box? They look professional, and I thought those had to be heat-sealed together.

Looks like the type of shipping box [email protected] sends smallish (200-400 piece) sets in. I've had a freebie polybag sent on one too.

Photos are deceptive.  The kitchen table is a very big table.  :)
