5005160 Stationary Kit Costs as Much as a Modular?

Looking at the LEGO website, the new Stationary Kit #5005160 in the US costs $155.91! There are no pictures as of yet, though one can purchase it. Reading the description, I see one baseplate and then there will be some bricks to build pencil cans, etc. and it comes with a journal and normal stationary items. Am I missing something? If not, this is the most ridiculous price I have seen from LEGO thus far. Any insights?

From the description it seems to be a compilation of the 9 existing stationary sets. Adding up the prices of those individual sets get you to $155.91.
Would have been nice if the kit would at least be sold at some discount.

@stlux Thanks. I didn't even think to look at the other products in such a way. Does anyone think there will be a market for this aggregate set at that price?

It's ok, they will slap a UCS label on it and then all will be justified.

Isn't that there standard pricing for compilation sets though - I don't think they even combine them in a bigger box, you just get the individual sets.

Correct. I got the first LotR wave that way and they come as is for the same total price as if you bought them separate.
