Green Grocer packaging question

So I am thinking about buying a used green grocer and I like to keep all boxes as part of my collection. Anyway the seller is saying he has the original box but not the inside cardboard. I have all 3 current Modulars and none of them have inside cardboard so I was just wondering if it would be a big deal that it was missing.

He might be talking about the protective cardboard and sleeve that sometimes comes with the instruction book. Personally I don't feel that it is very important- I don't see a collector willing to pay more for something like that. They are more interested in the MISB.

^-- not to mention that was before they put the Instructions in the cardboard backer and baggie... so lord know how messed up the instructions are in those boxes...

If your buying through eBay or BrickLink, I would use the messaging system to ask the seller. Hope this helps!

I don't recall there being any cardboard inside my MISB, brand store-bought Green Grocer set.....

My GG had a cardboard tray inside of it that they bags where in. I think it was a production run change.

Thanks llanowarsoldier from what the guy has told me that tray is the part he is missing but I couldn't care less about that.
