    Good morning Mr Camplin.

20 mins ago...in an undisclosed location...who'd have thought there would be a queue for the bathroom???!!! Someone was asleep queue-ing!

Have a great day @Legoboy and a LEGO-tastic, proclaimer singing, more funds raising, awesome walk! :o)

Good luck @Legoboy we are rooting for you!  You will make the whole Brickset community proud whether you finish the race or the not.  The effort you put into the race and the fundraiser is beyond incredible!

Looks like the first checkpoint is only at 30km, so I'll wait a couple of hours before frantically refreshing that site...

In any case we are all with you in spirit James. Good luck!

Pro tip for those rest stops: don't sit down. You risk your muscles locking up, and for the rest of your walk have a maximum speed of 2km/h... Unfortunately been there, done that.

Keep it going James - doing rain dances up here in Northampton so were are hosting the wet stuff and not you :-)

Hope your Dad can bring you new shoes at some point during the walk...get some light stretches in during those rest stops too.

    From James:

Okay.  50km down.  Woohoooo.  However, have lost both big toe nails in the process and was urged to stop, only being half way.  I explained that it wasn't really an option and so they've burst the blisters under the toe nail and drained the blood.  Dad is rushing home to grab my 'original' pair of walking boots and other socks on an attempt to continue as far as I can.  We'll see what happens.

Oh crap, pitfall posted that picture while I was typing - that's nasty.

That must hurt a lot! You poor. Impressive for not throwing on the towel yet.

I guess Legoboy is fortunate that he has those painkillers. But that's a lot of pain they have to supress :(

In honour of @Legoboy taking on the Thames Path Challenge, I thought I'd offer up a complete sealed set of Disney minifigures for silent auction to boost that fundraising total.

Remember I walk on the dark side so make those bids good. I'll pick up the postage to the winning bidder.

Winner donates their winning bid to:
    http://www.just-giving.co.uk/fundraising/James-Camplin

EDIT: In light of the pictures above, please dig deep and bid high. Please PM me FlumpWalks100km only.

Other annoying thing.  If I've understood the tracker correctly, I was 189th male in position before this set back.  Gŕrrrrrrr.

Or I am delirious and completely loopy.

    Did someone say "Trooper"? ;)
    Yey.
Although the cutlass might be seen as a bit of a drastic way to get the places back from those in front of him.
