That's the second major promotion for that set.  Last year they gave away 70749, a $60 set!

That might have been more to get rid of #70749 than to promote the Temple of Airjitzu. I also saw pallets of that set at Costco for something like $35 per set. 

It is still odd that they have had two promotions on #70751, it's making me a little nervous since I still haven't picked one up.

Highly recommended I really enjoyed this set and I think many others did that wouldn't normally have bought Ninjago!  I would almost be tempted to buy another.

I bought it when they were giving the 70749 along with it.  I do agree that the 70749 did not sell well but I also don't think the 70751 is selling too well either (hence multiple promotions).  I think they also gave away Ronin' REX st along with it at one point.
Even though I haven't built mine yet, I am tempted to take advantage of the promo (along with classic knight) before we get bamboozled with a sudden retirement.

Unfortunately no such promo at the European [email protected] #70751 has been on my wishlist for a while now as my first and only Ninjago set. A deal like that would for sure push me to finally pull the trigger.

Since recently coming out of my dark ages I've bought hundreds of sets and this is definitely in the top three. When I saw this deal I bought another one because... well you know, just in case.

Edit: I swear I wrote this before seeing the previous comment. Great minds etc.
