Should have gone with the wedding set that just came out... or is that jumping the gun a bit?

Looks like you're going to have to hit BrickLink for the replacements. Those two figures are now sacred!

I'm guessing it will be John Lewis for the wedding list ;-)

The wedding toppers aren't sold out in the UK.
I totally recommend John Lewis and amazon for your wedding list. We just had amazon as we got married 6 weeks after getting engaged, so it made it simple (and cheap) for our friends. We also got given a lot of gift vouchers for argos - shame I wasn't into lego then!

John Lewis and Amazon vouchers are the way forward - we had a JL wedding list which basically just said 'get vouchers' which we've been able to put towards nice things. My wife decreed they weren't to be used toward Lego though - boo!

thanks everybody :), Yep its be decided i have to go on bricklink as im not getting my mini figs back haha.

Going to get some wedding toppers as well im very lucky she really indulges my lego obsession. Even allowed some buckets on lego on the tables to keep people amused.

John Lewis Vouchers will be the way forward for us to as we both work there so get our company discount when we use them.

I hope I'm not stealing your thunder, but this seems like a relevant thread to share with you some LEGO accents that we included with our wedding. Feel free to use it as inspiration if you choose.

Photo 2: LEGO mosaic in lieu of traditional Bride and Groom portrait
Photo 3 & 4: Our venue was at a hotel that was remarkably similar to Cafe Corner so we built the model and put it with the placecards
