    It does look good, as do a fair few of them that have been revealed, I know @xiahna is looking forward to Sonic (I think she's hoping there's an announcement for another character from the Sonic games).

    Maybe I'm not up in my licensing, but isn't Sonic IP now managed by Nintendo?

    (Or Sonic is just licensed to Nintendo for video games?)

    And I think this makes him one of a select group that has a toy to life figure in two franchises (Amibio being the other). I believe Donkey Kong is in skylanders and has an Amibo as well.

    With that said, all the games so far based on the Sonic Boom TV series are exclusive to Nintendo platforms, with the exception of a recently released Android app.

    Overall, the Sonic the Hedgehog team at Sega just seems to have decided that Sonic does better on Nintendo platforms than on other consoles and handhelds. We've come a long way since "Sega does what Nintendon't".
