Question about database queries

Is it possible to search the Brickset database for all sets containing a specific part number regardless of the color? For example, part#30240 has 8 alternate part numbers based on the color, included in 31 sets. While digging through my latest thrift-store pile I have found three variations, and it would be really helpful to be able to be able to pull a list of sets containing part #30240, rather than 8 separate queries.

You'd be better off using Bricklink - put the part number in the search box, click the Part tab and then the part name for the list of sets which contain it.

No but I do plan to improve the parts database by adding features like that in due course.

I'm not sure it's worth the effort as things currently stand. The problem is the quality of LEGO's own inventories which Brickset relies on - until such time as they're accurate and complete any database query will be similarly incomplete.
