Was this given to you by an employee? It's a lot of sets.

So it does look like the 1st wave of Ninjago is being phased out. Also, most of these sets may sell out by christmas time and probably wont even be on the shelves. I sure wouldn't mind a 50% off 5891 Apple Tree House though. You know that 5891 won't make it to the 70% off.

That all depends on where you hide it...

    Thanks for the heads up.

I don't think the Targets near me even carry Apple Tree House. I wouldn't mind another of that one. Bummer. I think the only Creator sets that I remember are the Log Cabin & Lighthouse (in-store).

Some stores up here (Minnesota) have been testing the 30/50/70 clearance for a while. Seems that stuff stays at 30 a lot longer (presumably, the time it used to stay at for both 15 and 30). The 50% seems to be just a couple days, and then they drop to 70 right away.

In stores that have gone to 30/50/70, the 90% seems to have entirely disappeared, although it may just be that since 50% is basically skipped, stuff sells faster at 70%... ??

Also, as usual, "holiday" items (other than food/candy), do still immediately drop to 50%, and that should include any of the LEGO polybags in the seasonal sections.

That would mean (potentially) 40% off the Target Practice polybags and Harry Potter polybags. Nice.

"Do I kick myself for not waiting until they were cheaper, or do I kick myself when I wait too long and they're all gone?" ha It can be a lose-lose. :)

@brickupdate - where are you getting 40% for the Target Practice polybags?

By all means, those should be 50% off. If they're not, politely remind your cashier that you found them in the holiday aisle, which will be filled with signs mentioning that all items are 50% off ;)

There are a number of LEGO sets already 50% off at Target.com. I purchased City of Atlantis, Cars2 Big Ben set and Mack, also Kingdoms King's Carriage Ambush. These along with UCS McQueen, Atlantis Angler Attack, Cars 2 Jet escape set, World Racers Jagged Jaws Reef, and a few others are all 50% off marked as clearance.
NOTE: 8085 SW Freeco Speeder is also half off, but is not marked as clearance, and Ninjago Lord Garmadon is clearance, but only at 33%.

One thing to note is, not all the sets with reduced prices @ Target.com are specifically listed as 'Sale' or 'Clearance', the now sold out MVR was around $53 or so for a few days before changing over to the now 'Sold out Online' the MMV is @$89.99 or so right now even yet (it was reduced as well when I first saw the MVR's price). Think there were a few other sets the same way but don't recall them offhand, I've gotten a second MMV now but missed the MVR (was expecting it to last longer, oh well).
In-store I have not yet seen any ticketed clearance but they've had some of the old line Ninja-go sets on their 'Temporary Price Reduction signs', the prices haven't been enough off to induce my buying any of those, yet (suspect most of those will get clearanced soonish since we've go the new line showing up).
I hope to be able to acquire a bunch of the 30061 Target Practice Poly's once they get reduced but only time will tell.

I picked up a few of the 5891 Apple Tree houses on clearance at WalMart a few months back. That was a happy find!
