She also said there aren't any in the warehouse meaning the stores won't be getting anymore. I'm hoping they are in mid transit.

You can try giving that to a store employee to look up.
"LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Professors 4 Minifigure Set"
The lady there knew what she was looking for and placed the order for me for home delivery. The item came out to less than $8. I got a printed confirmation at the store and am email confirmation as well. It was shipped one day later
I did notice that eBay seems to be flooded with them, but at $39.00 and up it's just not worth it to me.
I suppose this is going to be a bit of headache trying to find them at retail prices. Anybody heard anything about the other sets?
Showed up as none available anywhere, not even in the warehouse. I don't have high hopes of actually being able to get this set at retail price.
Plus, it's a gift for my wife. You could say I earned "double points" on that purchase!
The secondary market prices are too high for my liking, but they're what people are willing to pay. While our minifigure collection will feel incomplete without them, we can live with that compared to the secondary market price.
As for the Bricktober pack, I actually got lucky and won a giveaway that someone was doing on Instagram to celebrate 2k followers. He should be sending it out by this Sunday.
I stopped in today because I thought I saw someone here post that the Kessell Mine Worker sale was over. There wasn't any indication of that at my store. They wouldn't sell the extra polys because the signs of 'spending $30 for a free one' don't have a defined end-date. So their still running the promotion.
My BN cashier was nice enough to sell me a mine worker for the $1.14 price. All I had to do was ask if I could just buy one outright even though the signs were still up for the $30 purchase being necessary.
We were in Sacramento today, so my friend and I decided to check both stores in the city. One had no Kessel Mine Workers left, verified by the manager. I called the second store and spoke to a really nice lady. She knew exactly about the promo and that the promo had ended last week. She said they had three figures left. I asked if I could buy them and she said no but because even though the promo ended they were giving them away with a LEGO purchase, even clearance. I asked her if she would hold two for me and me and my friend would be right over. She said yes. I asked what the dollar amount of the purchase had to be. She asked the manager and told me if I make a LEGO purchase of ANY amount I could have two of "the little guys". We rushed right over and my friend picked out a BrickHeadz that was on sale for 20% off. We go up to the register and I start to say I just called and she says Russell? I said yes and she reaches under the counter and pulls out all three and says I can have all of them. Apparently they have been trying to get rid of them for a week and no one was buying LEGO so they asked the manager if they could just give them all to me. We left the store very happy.
Oh well.
