An accidental lego collector!

hello everyone ..... I am Chris and seem to have got into lego accidentally. I am Granny Chris to a 7 year old grandson who is lego mad and he often comes to stay for a sleepover. I recently made over the spare bedroom for him as a seaside theme and of course there had to be pirates. So I started shopping for pirate lego on ebay and a little kit seems to be found as part of the treasure when he visits. We then found an old lego railway track and part of a kit in the loft, plus some atuff my son had in the 1980's .... Space, light and sound and technic. We have moved house several times and inevitably bits have gone missing so ..... I started buying bags of oddments to use as spares and just recently a friend has fiven me a bucketload of basic bricks from the 80's .... Along with several minifigures which I am trying to identify and cannot find on the parts list. It may be that they have swopped torsos and legs around but I will put a picture on when I can work out which part of the forum it belongs to.

so ..... Not a true lego collector  ..... But find I am getting very interested in tracking down which sets these bricks belonged to. Its like a jigsaw puzzle!! And dont tell anyone, but I am enjoying making up the kits too .... To check the parts are all there you understand! ;-)
