Flesh figures, frugally: what's the best route?

I've been considering trying to get hold of plenty of flesh figures so I can turn my classic astronauts neo-classic, and I'm wondering what the most cost-effective way of doing that is.

I just bought the #75131 Resistance Troopers battle pack, and with four distinct flesh heads and two sets of flesh hands for $13 (list), it seems pretty good, but I wonder whether I can do better (especially on getting female heads, and more flesh hands). Should I be looking for sets from older (maybe less popular) licensed themes, or am I better buying by the minifig, or even by part?

On a more general note, how do people feel about the more recognisable faces being re-used out of context? Do you mind Han's grin in your space base, for example?

Thanks for any advice.

Bricklink. You can get just heads or entire minifigs to take apart and customize however you wish. I've created a superhero team for my son that is made up of flesh minifigs and this is how I went about it. It's also a good place to search through the catalog and see just what heads are out there.

@Yodalicious Yes, I'm a happy Bricklink user. Maybe I should spend more time in their catalogue, but it's good to know that it's a workable option.

A few fleshy heads in the Disney CMF line. Might be worth investigating.

There's also going to be 16 brand new fleshy heads released with the Team Germany CMFs but they might be a bit pricey. There's a lot of good ones from themes like Prince of Persia and Indiana Jones.

Also, looking for the generic figures in SH and SW sets is a good route.  I'm sure there are a bunch of Shield Agents, Truck Drivers and Clone Troopers looking for a place to reside...

Keep an eye out for discounted licensed theme Lego Dimensions packs (BTTF, Superheroes, Jurassic World) - especially team packs or level packs. If you get a good enough deal they may be worth your while.

I've ordered flesh heads off the Lego Bricks and Pieces section at Lego.com. It's easiest if you search by set #

I've used Bricklink for lots of flesh heads for my SHIELD agents made from the anonymous agent in the carnage set and the maria hill torso

That's useful advice; it's narrowed the Bricklink search down, and it may be worth poking at Lego too. Thanks, all.
