Kjeld KK names Thomas KK his son to follow his steps at LEGO in Wall Street Journal article today
Interesting article. Glad to hear that KKK has only six granddaughters (and no grandsons yet.) Maybe TLG will keep making lots of products for females in the long run! They are wise to keep a CEO from outside the family.

Is it raining at your house?
Here are the Kristiansen's.... front row... left to right... Thomas's younger sister Agnete, mother (and KKK spouse) Camilla, KKK, with his arm on his 92 year old mother Edith Kirk Christiansen, then LEGO House architect Bjarke Engels, Thomas's older sister Sofie, Thomas... and the rest TLG execs. Thomas has a daughter, and Sofie and Agnete share 5 daughters.
Here is a 1958 image of KKK and his younger sister Hanne Kirk Christiansen, and older sister Gunhild Kirk Johansen... from a 700/5 LEGO basic set box top... with a 1950s Town Plan scene.
KKK and Gunhild's younger sister Hanne died in 1969 in a car crash (on the way to see a movie in the nearby town of Give, on a wet roadway at night) in which Kjeld was severely injured. She was 18 at the time. Their father (Godtfred Kirk Christiansen) was so grief stricken, he almost sold the company.
