Which LEGO theme would you like to see re-made in the future?

So I know there has been tons of themes that have been discontinued and left me brokenhearted with no new sets. such as Power Miners, alantis, Pharoes quest. But what are some of the ones you wish lego would re-make?

    M:TRON. Always M:Tron.

Not that that will happen, without a considerable amount of reworking on the magnets. Still, it would be lovely to get an M:TRON nod in a set at some point, like Blacktron did in one of the Lego Movie sets.

Why, was there a problem with the magnets originally? I would so love to see it come back; a while ago someone posted a link to a video from some convention where someone had made the most gigantic, sprawling MOC M:Tron base... /nostalgic sigh

    Also, Blacktron.

Blacktron or Blacktron 2 though? I remember reading somehwere that the original blacktrons scared some children at the time and lego had a policy of never showing them with their visors down. Guessing that's why Blacktron 2 was a wee bit brighter

Would love some return of the magnets (and gorgeous MTron red) but perhaps Lego decided that they already produce a toy with the ability to connect together, so anything a magnet could do they could reproduce more cheaply.

I think magnets had to be reworked at some point to be compliant with toy codes for one if not all of their markets. That is why train couplings have the magnet hidden underneath plastic now. Exposed ones were an issue for some reason. Probably cost/benefit analysis gives magnets a thumbs down too these days.

I would like another round of M-Tron but would prefer Ice Planet even more.

I was thinking blacktron, but honestly, I'm not sure I want any revisited. Think it might just kill whatever nostalgia is there. I'd rather they just did better new themes and did them better. Some new pieces in trans-yellow would be nice though.

Maybe a revisit of some of the older space themes as single set releases then? They did re-issue the classic astronauts some years back. Defo on ice planet too.

There's a lot of info regarding children eating magnets which may have put Lego off.

I think the theme that I would like to see remade would be the UCS line.
You all remember it, the line with the huge display pieces.
Not the play sets, not the collection of previous sets, the sets that were so big that the mini figures were a bonus, not the selling point.

Blacktron 1 and 2, M Tron, and Space Police 1.  Love the original space police with its use of black, blue, and clear red.  Since this may never happen I'm currently in the process of rebuilding all of my old space sets.  1985-1991.  Got most but the #6781 SP Striker is proving quite elusive for what I'm willing to spend.  Currently rebuilding #6988.  Got about $106 into it and its 90% complete!!  Ebay hooked me up this week!

It would be really awesome to see space police again. I just fear they might screw up with space police if they tried to return to it.

    1) New real quality Pirates sets including a brick built ship that could convincingly face off with 10210.  2) Robin Hood/Foresters sets 3) Castle and Kingdoms 4)Harry Potter, theres so much more of that world to explore still.  I'd love to see more Diago Alley shops, the ministry of magic, and the 3 broomsticks for starters.

@hey...hey Amazingly enough, no, I didn't! So that means there's TWO gigantic, insanely detailed M:Tron dioramas out there?! That, or this is a part of the one I saw which happened not to be caught on video... I think I have found my life's ambition, and it is to recreate that thing.

There's a lot of original Lego themes I enjoyed, but I'm not desperate to see any of them revisited. I don't care whether a theme is an original theme or a rebooted classic as long as it's good.

However, if you ask me about LICENSED themes, there's really only one answer I can give: Avatar: The Last Airbender. A fantastic TV show like that didn't deserve such a mediocre theme, and if there were any way at all that that theme could get a new lease on life, I'd love for it to happen!

I would love to see an old space theme, or a new one, preferably one which is not centered around conflict, but exploration (and not modern day, like spaceshuttles). Or new castle sets, although I dont think it is likely...

-vikings with better brickbuilt dragons (see titanium, wu, new loyd or jay dragon)

-adventurers with temples n stuff. no need to licence for indiana jones

-PIRATES with an heavy emphasis on islanders, voodoo, skulls and things

-minitalia or world city or something advanced models (a theme without play features only for display in minifig scale)
needs to have foliage, modular brickbuilt roads, railway stations, extra train carriages, harbors, an "emerald night"-like train, train engine sheds, level crossings ...

Exactly! The city space port stuff is fine but it just feels like they're rehashing the same sets each time.

Outside of the city line though you'd have to insert a narrative for the theme which brings us back to good guys vs bad guys...

That's the business model that saved them from trouble before though so perhaps they know what they're doing on that front!

I would absolutely love a new Adventurers theme. Get the gang back together. Johnny Thunder, Dr. Charles Kilroy, Pippin Reed, maybe even add a new team member just for kicks. I'd be so happy to see three of my favorite Lego minifigures resurrected with modern bricks.

Of course, Sam Sinister is a staple. Perhaps it would be cool to bring back some additional classic Adventurers villains.

While Egypt has been done already and Pharaoh's Quest took a stab at it again, I think an Adventurers reboot should go back to Egypt. Maybe make the adventure go more places than just the desert - like to a library or a museum or even another archeological site that eventually connects back to the main dig. Add vehicles - lots of vehicles. Old-style jeeps with the touch of modern bricks, planes and biplanes and gliders and hot air balloons and zeppelins and rafts and steamboats and everything. Add artifacts everywhere, connect the sets with those kinds of details, and you'll have me standing in pure awe in the Lego aisle.

If we're going to go over the rails while we're at it, app integration like Nexo Knights could be fun. It would add a lot of textured bricks and symbol-ridden pieces are great for storylines, decorations, etc.

Now if I were in charge (and this is where I'm going off the rails on my crazy Johnny Thunder train), I would want a full-on Lego Adventurers movie, plus a six-year or seven-year storyline like Ninjago.

But at the least, another wave of sets would be just fine for me :)

Is it possible to make a pyramid that opens up like a dollhouse if Johnny Thunder came back? I still have his girlfriends red/green torso and Sinister's head. Bout the only things that made it outta 1999 when I came outta my first dark age besides the white Ninja princess mask.

Huh. I'm now thinking about all the possibilities of a rejuvanated Space theme that links to an education and game app. Explore the galaxy and learn while you go. With all the different environments to face alternate builds would be handy and the focus would be on exploration.

Maybe we'll get a low tech, forestmen faction in Nexo Knights!

I missed out on Vikings, and I'd always love some proper pirates (not the crap we got last year).

I'd love be to see a theme aligned with Crimson Skies (old PC/Xbox game).  Massive dirigible massive bases and dog fighting with alternative history planes circa 1930-40's.

I want a return of Futuron and Blacktron I. Bring back the modular idea for Blacktron, and keep them mostly in black.

Another round of Alien Conquest sets could be cool. Give them some new types of aliens to fight.

I'd also love a classic castle theme with updates of the old factions (Black Falcon, Black Monarch/Dragon knights, Forestmen).

No, but same genre. I prefer that they innovate and have distinct themes even if the idea is roughly the same. I wasn't into GS at all, but I'd prefer to have AC then GS and whatever the next aliens theme is, rather than AC, followed by AC2, then AC3.
