Sets for Doctor Strange?

So marvel released the trailer for their next movie doctor strange. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lt-U_t2pUHI
So they did sets for Civil War but do you think there will be sets for Doctor Strange and if so what will the sets be?  I think there will be at least one set like they did for Ant-Man mabye more.

    One set.

I agree with the above, there will probably only be one set.  But at least Benedict Cumberbatch will get a minifig.  I would prefer a Sherlock Holmes version, but it will do.

Only one Dr Strange set was shown at the London Toy Fair.  And it looked excellent.

I wish they would do a entire sherlock line of sets but I doubt that will happen...

I can't find anything later than the description here (despite the article mentioning that people were expecting to see it at the New York toy fair a few weeks later): apparently it's Doctor Strange's inner sanctum: http://marveltoynews.com/lego-marvel-summer-2016-sets-list-uk-toy-fair-2016/

I hope they bring out more sets in the future, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I'm going to consider myself lucky that they made one.

I have been a Doctor Strange fan ever since my dad found a copy of the Doctor Strange Master of the Mystic Arts pocket book for me at a local library during a book exchange. That was when I was 6 (in 1980). It contained a collection of his comics including his origin story and a few other story lines (including one with Spiderman). That little compendium got me hooked on Doctor Strange.

Right now I'm trying to imagine what other sets would look like. Not very many people know much about him or his foes, so I can't see TLG greenlighting any sets with his enemies (such as Dormammu, Satanish, Mephisto, Shuma-Gorath, Chthon). So if any sets come out they will probably just be team-up sets like the Spiderman sets we always see.

Sounds like a fab diorama. Bit expensive, but should mean it's a decent size. I'll be buying it.

One set, and buy it if you want it, if the Ant man final battle set is any indicator, unless Doc Strange is in a Civil War set (I forget now)....

I hope one of the figures is a translucent (that means clear, right?) blue/purple'ish  Minifigure to represent Dr. Strange's Astral form. Also...Will Martin Freeman be playing Wong? This is crazy. I had no idea Cucumberpatch was playing Dr. Strange.

The Dr Strange Sanctum Sanctorum set reminded me a bit of the Big Bang Theory set in terms of details, size and because the colours scheme had tan walls with a reddish-brown bookcase to the left of a central large round window with long samurai swords across it to create the distinctive bar pattern I've seen from the movie's concept art.  There was a table which I think was on a raised platform in front of the window (can't be certain of that) and there were several books and bits n bobs on the table. On the wall to the right,  I think at angle to the main wall,  there was a monster or portal or something -  red tentacles emerging from the wall anyway.  The three minifigs were all plain white,  no printing.  One was carrying two fans.  Not sure if that is a placeholder.
It definitely appealed to me despite having no final minifigs in it,  which are usually the main reason for buying a Superheroes set!

That's about all I can remember, nearly three months on from seeing it. I said I'd sketch it but it turns out I am not an artist. @CapnRex101 will be able to add more detail and correct me where I'm wrong.
Hopefully Lego doesn't make us delete this description too!

Martin Freeman is rumoured to be playing Everett Ross, a U.S. government agent who works for the U.S. ambassador to Wakanda. Sadly, I doubt he will have anything to do with Dr Strange (he's in Civil War and Black Panther).

@LostInTranslation: thanks for the detail, that's awesome and just what I was hoping for!

The three minifigures are Doctor Strange, Karl Mordo and The Ancient One. @LostInTranslation's description is accurate and I completely agree that it looked great, with a similar style and structure to The Big Bang Theory from last year.

And it will probably be a day one buy for me so I don't have to worry it's discontinued like the Ant-Man set was

The Dr. Strange set and the fourth Civil War set will be instant purchases; I cannot wait for the pictures of both to finally suface.

Any word on UK pricing? The piece count on the main site suggests a RRP between £29.99 and £34.99. I reckon they'll both be released in September.

I hope they continue with these singular sets based on a movie much like the Ant-Man set. It's much easier than purchasing an entire wave based on a single movie. The Ant-Man is the best retail set from the entire LEGO Marvel, Super Heroes theme in terms of the models, Minifigures selection and the cool concept of enlarging objects and using the Minifigures as 'small' characters without creating smaller ones.
