What Should I Get For My 100th Star Wars Set?

PooPotatoPooPotato Member Posts: 8
After purchasing three sets during March for double VIP points, I realized that my collection of Star Wars sets is standing at a cool 99 unique sets/polybag figures.  I really want to do something special for my 100th set, and seeing as how my 10188 Death Star isn't "officially UCS", I'm considering getting the UCS Slave I.  Any other suggestions?

I'm guessing it is a joke about the movie " The Martian".

UCS Imperial Star Destroyer (Death Star will probably be re-released soon)- go big or go home...

It's actually way pre-Martian.  I was going on a road trip to Minnesota to visit some relatives, and they sent us a care package with a bunch of comics and stuff to last the trip.  One of the comics had an ad for some super absurd comic featuring a character who looked like Sloth from The Goonies (if you haven't seen that film yet, I'll post a link at the end so you have an idea).  This character's catchphrase was "Poop potato!", and me being 11 years old or something thought it was hysterical.  Thus my online identity was born. It's my Xbox live account name as well.  I'll probably have it chiseled onto my gravestone.

For those of you who haven't seen The Goonies: http://youtu.be/qFUISvEZ3aw

Also, the only UCS size set I own (that being a set worth more than $120) is 10188.

    No option for prequels?

In answer to the question - buy what you like. I don't know what you've already got or what you like.

I meant prequels haha. I suppose TFA us an option but there isnt much out and we still have two more movies. I meant prequel >. <

    Seconded!!

If you wanted to do something extravagant for the 100th set, you could splash out on a rarer poly (Chrome Vader, by chance?)...

I'm not too keen on super expensive minifigures, rather on how movie accurate and awesome an entire set looks is what determines my purchase.  The UCS Slave I seems to fit the bill, although I would consider brick linking together the UCS Imperial Shuttle from a few years back.  It looked magnificent.

Slave 1 would be a great choice. Looks very good on display with being too exspensive
