I just picked up a large bulk lot of 100+ sets. It is much larger than I anticipated and I do not have the time to invest right now. All the sets in this list (http://brickset.com/sets/list-15191) have instructions and half of them have boxes, both in like new condition. I took an hour or so to verify that something of each of the large sets where present. Such as minifigs and the mindstorm cpu. This is a great lot for those that have the time to invest. Over 200lbs in total. Picture coming soon.

Some of the sets include:

I am located in Northern VA and can meet in the Chantilly area.

Currently all the blocks are in 5 large tubs waiting to be sorted, hence the "time to invest" comment.

There's a QAR in there too.  Too bad you don't have the time to sift through it.

That's a nice mix of sets.

@FollowsClosely So, are you looking to flip the entire lot or sell off the individual sets?

Seeing he said he doesn't have the time to invest and none of the sets are separated I would guess he's trying to sell the whole lot.

I am looking to sell the entire lot. My kids want to sort 10 big sets out to pay for the lot and keep the rest, but we are running out of space.

If no one bites on the big lot, we will sort out and sell them individually.

I would have interest in the lot, but I am in St. Louis and shipping it would kill the deal for alot of reasons.

I'm in Virginia and am interested.

Not that it matters much.  But sets 5868, 7327, and 8014 each appear twice in the list.  Does that mean you have two sets of instructions for those?  Also, the DeLorean and Ghostbusters cars don't show up in this list.

Did you weigh the collection yourself?  I've bought a few bulk collections and it doesn't look like it's over 200 pounds in the pictures.  Maybe with the manuals, boxes, and storage containers all together.  Or I'm underestimating the size of containers.  I'm just questioning the Lego weight itself and asking for verification.

The lot appears to have been well taken care of.  But with everything disassembled, there's no way to know for sure all of these sets are complete.  Additionally, it will take ages to sort, to put it all together, and figure out what's actually there.  That's why I'd like to know an accurate total weight, since I can only consider it as a bulk lot.  Not a collection of complete sets.

Are you flexible on the price?  Would you consider a lower offer?  Assuming it is actually a couple hundred pounds, the asking price is ten dollars per, which is on the high end of what I think it's worth.

The DeLorean and Ghostbusters car are included. The GB car is partly intact still.

I need to verify the weight, that is what It was previously listed at, and I suspect that the manuals and storage containers are included. I will weight it myself tonight.

I agree that it is on the high end, but given the sets (Falcon, Mindstorm, HP, AT-ST) and the great condition the manuals and blocks are in I am confident that the sets will be mostly complete. The price is negotiable, let me get back to you after weighing the lot.

After weighing the block in the plastic tubs; the total comes to 223 lbs give or take. 223 lbs does not include the boxes and instructions.

If you lived near me I would totally agree to that. I'd even let you pick a few sets to keep:)

I also enjoy the process, but we simply running out of space.

Spring break is coming up....got a spare room I could stay in?

(I'm just kidding having someone from the Internet Stay over to organize your LEGO would probably be an awkward scenario to explain to your relatives/neighbors)

^ Mine would be more agreeable to the second scenario than the first.

I am sooooo glad those containers are sitting in your house instead of ours! At this moment our living room dining room, stairwell, and LEGO rooms are full of a Duplo  Village and umpteen containers of parts related to that build for next weekend. Can't wait until we get it packed and out of here so we can walk again. Gonna be a huge effort with about 30 large boxes and over that many huge baseplates loaded with goodies. No way I could sort anything else today. BrickUniverse returns to Raleigh on Friday. Very happy it is a local show for us. Part of my burnout is due to selling five early modulars to a friend this week; that took about three days to find most of the parts and figs even though he has some rebuilding to do. Was glad to see it go to a collector who teaches piano for a living. May he enjoy them as much as we have.
