My main collection is Star Wars UCS, hence I will get one as it will leave a hole in the collection without it, but I will be in no hurry to get it.
The post was to show that a UCS set released in a few weeks is already on eBay.. And for a high premium at that.
I don't think I could blow £200+ on a set just because it had the UCS moniker though. I'm not a completionist so am able to let sets that don't excite me slip by while I wait for something that makes me go "wow!"

Sure is.
But the last one of the first Death Star was a episode IV themed with an "open" design. I did just hope to have a Rogue One theme "closed" design (opening feature) first Death Star.
Will it come with exclusive buildable figures like the speeder bike?
Confirmed: Two Rebel Alliance members included in the Assault on the Death Star.

I don't go hunting down every last detail of these rumours, so do we know if it's just wishful thinking or is there anything to suggest that there may actually be a new uber-Falcon at some point?
Cheers!
I shall start saving for the inevitable release of UCS Falcon MkII later in the year.
Cheers!
A) 6 of the top 10 largest piece-count sets ever are from 2016 or 2017. And I'm only counting the DS update, not the original.
B) Death Star retirement and nearly immediate re-release/update is very telling of where TLG's thinking is at right now.
*Top 10 includes only those with widely available distribution ... Star Wars M&M mosaics don't count
I think that's the most likely reason for the whispers. Why not relaunch one of the most iconic Lego sets with the launch of a movie pretty much centered around that ship?
