Here's my little Decorated Slope 33 collection...

What the heck are bottom left, bottom right, and top middle (with waves or something on it).

Also, just wondering, does it bother you that some are smooth while others are rough?

    I think the 28 is from a technic set. F1 Racer from 1994. 8808

    @SprinkleOtter what they said^
No it doesn't bother me with the textured vs smooth. As long as it's a Decorated 3x2 Slope 33. No stickers though.

Yeah, I recognized that since I got a bag of parts at a garage sale that included a lot of #8808. I don't have any others for sale, but I have some of those in my old personal stockpile.

Bikes and also trolleys (I also haven't ventured anywhere near the rarer blue bikes).

As a dog person, I might be starting to collect LEGO dogs. I like Pop Star, and the double quarter note spot on the dalmatian is a great detail. I got #40201 Valentines Cupid Dog on sale at the LEGO store. Recently I got #31044 Park Animals (another brick built), and there are dog minifigs in #40221 Fountain and #60134 Fun int he Park

@Rebelego I stack different colors of the same shape

@KingAlanI the Chihuahua is often in the 'build a minifig' part in LEGO brand stores...the pug is my favourite tho :-)

Wish we had a Lego store over here, Pick A Brick, Build A Minifig, we have to rely on BrickLink any extras we want.

^ It's great if you want to spend $4.99 for three rather pedestrian minifigs.
  • SprinkleOtterSprinkleOtter Member Posts: 2,731
^4.99? I don't think it has been that cheap for a while- more like 9.99.

If it was $5, it would be a decent deal.

Medium Blue = Misinterpreted Medium Azure?
Possibly, but it is listed as a separate colour in the BrickLink database and there was one, apparently, sold for ~GBP 214.56 within the last 6 months. I also see that a single "Bright Light Blue" bicycle also sold for a lot of money within the last 6 months and one currently for sale.

A number of colours are listed with no sales against them (Light Pink, Pink, and Transparent Red).

@JudgeChuck There are definitely blues and trans red out there and not confused withmedium azure (although like you I would worry about that and would ask for a comparative photo before buying)

Oh, I quite well believe that they exist, but how? Are they test parts? That would explain their rarity.
  • DeMontesDeMontes North YorkshireMember Posts: 546
@JudgeChuck most likely test parts that escaped!
  • BobflipBobflip Member Posts: 474
I love seeing these collections! Not going to collect them myself, but always wonder how those test parts escape the clutches of the LEGO empire?

The Tr. Red one ought to be under lock and key, and better guarded - polycarbonate on polycarbonate makes it illegal.

This to me reminds me a lot of collecting minifigures only.  I know there are threads out there discussing this - it's what makes LEGO so much fun!

Do be aware there are clone brand bicycles that looked identical to the Lego version and they do have lots of colour variations.

There are some amazing collections of pieces on this thread. I didn't think it was for me, until I saw @JudgeChuck 's photo of the bicycles. We have three of the eight so far. Currently adding the other five colours to my BL want list!

^ You posted them on a street scene. My daughter walked in and said "thats cool daddy, make a bike rack for your street and get some different colours!"

Found the missing colours on BL. its the rarer ones I'll struggle with.

Everything looks better in situ! :-)

Of the three rare, but not ultra-rare (Blue, Medium Blue, Light Pink, Pink, Bright Light Blue and Transparent Red) ones, the Black and Dark Pink ones are relatively cheap (I picked them up for €3.50 and €4.98, both used but in very good condition), but the Yellow one is fairly expensive, as ones in good condition go for £12+. I found one in great condition for €13.50, which is pretty good, I think, given the range of prices on BL.

Just out of curiosity, where do the blue and med-blue appear? BL doesn't seem to show they ever came out in sets.

I'm still cutting teeth in this whole AFOL deal, so bare with me if that's a dumb question!
