Awwww CMF reveals - It's like Xmas morning for me. As always, I'm hyped for the next release!

Ice queen appears to be using the new dress piece from S15. Not really feeling the cyborg and something looks a little off with the Penguins head to me but I'm not sure what it is. The rest look great - really liking the Rouge!

I know people love the animal costume figs (I was one of those people), but it's starting to get a little played out IMO.

oh the imp is a costume :/ it looks like 3 costumes in a single serie, I guess lots of people will be pleased.

For a second, I was like "why are David Byrne & friends getting involved, these musicians always need to get their two cents in" and then... I realized I'm an idiot.

From the glimpse I got, not too excited, and that's ok. I'm still dealing with the frustration of trying to find spare shark dudes and a couple more skunks.

Yeah, I just gave up and bought extra pigs and skunks from sellers on BL. It was not worth it to me trying to go around and buy up all the farmers and animal control folks I could find (more importantly it is not really fair to those that want to complete sets either). Most folks selling them on BL are priced as what it likely would cost if buying them from LEGO direct (which you cannot do at this time anyway)

Are the pigs and skunks you need for a farm/zoo scene? I'm just curious what you are using them for.

I like to have animals on-hand in the story builder kits I created for my students. Since I work in special ed, I found that building kits with lots of people/animals have been really useful for scripting out not only fictional stories but for using in non-fiction stories. I have found Lego to me one of the most useful tools in my ELA classes because a lot of my kids just can't conceptualize on paper, they're too visual and kinesthetic. The more creative options, the better.

In my own application, I also have a town that needs a couple of skunks running around, since they run ~rampant~ where I live. Might as well add some realism to the scene.

I have not decided, but I figured it would be best to buy a few extra now for future ideas (likely a farm for the pigs (or as 'pets') and maybe a zoo or other scenes for the skunks) than deciding I need them later and finding out they are going to cost me more because they were not put into other sets. Same reason why I have extra pigs without spots and black spotted pigs.
I would rather stock a few up now than possibly pay dearly later. The risk is they come out in other sets and are cheaper than what I'm paying now for them but it is a roll of the dice, and like they will cost more, not less.

More like finding Xmas presents under your parents' bed in the middle of November. You know what they are but you cannot have them and much of the excitement wears off by the time you can.

I'm usually pretty content with whatever we get in the CMF's, generally if I don't like them I don't get them. This time I am disappointed, I really wanted the imp and the banana guy to be different from what we are getting. The penguin and cyborg are pretty solid though.

@eggshenNot to be a troll, but I'm curious what you were expecting for the Banana suit guy? I kinda thought they nailed it. All along I was imagining this from the peanut butter jelly time song and it's basically what we got.

@pharmjod @SumoLego I don't want to give too much away for those that haven't seen the image but I don't like the face (easy to fix with a new head) and I wish they had left the printing off the front of the suit. That printing absolutely ruins it for me.

For the imp, I again do not like the head. Easy to fix with a Nexo Knight ash attacker or crust smasher head.
