some sets sporting a heavy LEGO TECHNIC- and/or BIONICLE-look

they should stick to classic themes: historical, space, town
categorized in proper subthemes:

woodmen, lionknights, dragonknights, bat knights, wolf dudes, skull knight faction, ninja, samurai, pirates, egyptians, spartans, romans, greeks, babylonians, 

a proper victorian (industrial revolution) theme

roaring 1920's dandy bobo theme with cool cars

as for SPACE
a proper exo-force theme with WAKA-mechs as subtheme
spacepolice, explorers, miners, traders, pirates,
maybe some cowboy bebop, gundam or neon genesis evangelion

as for town:
less special molds, more brick built! hating the junior cars consisting of 4 parts!

Ugh. I have been looking at half price Speedorz alerts for two years plus without knowing they could be avoided.

That's a helpful feature, but probably a bit too wide-ranging for bargain hunters. For example, I'm not interested in Dimensions packs at 50% off, but I'd be interested at 75% off. The extremely minor annoyance of seeing them listed is worth not missing out on a good deal, however unlikely.

I believe you can also filter the list to only show sets on your wanted list? If that helps at all?

That is helpful!  My rant also encompasses Slickdeals and other similar sites.
