Direct link to their folder (beware: PDF):

They also have a "buy two get third free" promotion on their toys and this set was part of that promotion: But I don't know if you can buy three of the same things.

I was early on route to the airport to head back to the UK and so stopped of at my local Carrefour in france. I saw this and thought it was a pretty good deal especially for european prices. The carte bancaire would have got a pounding if it wasn't for the fact that mine has expired and I'm waiting for a new 1. I didn't know anything about the 3 for 2 but I'll be making sure I have a wad of cash when I return, 3 for 2 or not. I'm just hoping they are still there!

I'm actually considering visiting Carrefour this weekend (and I don't really live close to a store) and buying three boxes. Or at least one.

I'm still not sure it's a great idea, or if I'm going crazy. WTF am I going to do with another 4800 pieces of LEGO? If I'm going and if I buy three, then I really should give one to my niece and nephew this Christmas, I think.
