I have a few different colors, some new and some used, I think I added correctly.
Hopefully @KingAlanI can provide you with what you need. Lego also sells a box with basic 2x2 and 2x4 Duplo bricks ( #6176 ) in Europe, but according to the Brickset listing this is no longer available in the US since 2011. Current basic Duplo sets available in the US unfortunately don't seem to contain many 2x4's.
There is probably a way for the librarian to get a large amount through Lego that isn't available to the general public but this is a small way I can contribute.
As much as I love Lego and their sets...I find their "build buckets," to be quite lackluster. Not enough pieces to build what my kiddo wants to build, too many pieces that she doesn't want to use...so I have been building my own build buckets for my kids (one system and one duplo for my littlest,) through Bricklink for Christmas. It has been quite fun!
Yeah, parts sets often have a small amount of what you want and a lot you don't.
If they're building a wall, do they want a few 2x2's for the ends of every other level?
had A very small order a couple of weeks ago from buyer 'sufi19'
today he has given me negative feedback and initiated a NSS, no communication from him prior to this to say there was a problem. Normally if I had more of the same parts I would send them out again, but clearly this guy is unreasonable as he's not giving me a chance to try and sort it out!
Just getting into this and it is a lot of fun. I have 20.000 parts but also mf and some sets.
I will give you 10% discount for the rest of October and November if you mention Brickset.
We haven't made a sale yet, and all of my inventory isn't up yet (still have a lot to go).
But we are open for business.

amazon are going to price match and that going to make #70323 about 50% off....
the good news is the wait time on amazon is "Usually dispatched within 1 to 3 months." so now i dont feel quite so pissed off about it. and the 38% saving i got from Smyths is still not anything to scoff at.
I know it will vary between sellers but lets say I was invoiced on a Friday and paid same day, is a week a long time before BL should say posted, bear in mind it has been "packed" for the last two days?
You don't really appreciate how many different pieces of Lego exist until you start a Brick Link store.
As a buyer I've seen a lot of variation in shipping times, so if you have some kind of urgency I'd recommend checking what they say on their terms, and even checking previous feedback for hints on that subject.
BrickLink makes it easy to send a message to a buyer to say the package has been shipped, but some sellers don't go to that trouble.
As a seller I try to keep the buyer in the loop as much as possible, but then end up having to chase buyers to check if the order has arrived, and to check everything is okay and mark the order as completed...
its a cooperative work from a friend of mine and me.
I'm glad it wasn't just me... the warning banner was a bit too invasive for me, especially first thing on Saturday morning! I emailed the Admin Team about it on Saturday but they haven't replied, although they've added a statement in the Community forum confirming that it's been fixed and apologising for the chaos.
These things happen I guess, hopefully it won't happen again :-)
We are already thinking about what to buy to add to our inventory.
what hurts a bit is that people dont bother with feedback. i m only 1 feedback away from offering IBAN payment ....
@CaptainPirateMan you must either have a pretty big store or selling too cheap...?
With how many shops are out there it is hard to get orders if you don't have a large number of distinct lots. I've never had more than 6k (unique) lots. The stores that have like 10k lots and millions of parts do a lot more business.
Being the US does help as it is the largest market on bricklink. Over 1/3 of the stores and 1/2 of the members are in the US. US-to-US shipping is fairly cheap shipping so people tend to lean that way to save on shipping.
Got some clearance DUPLO, I like expanding that side of my store.
The sets weren't inventoried, so I had to submit catalog entries and images for the missing parts, then when that's approved I do set inventories. Learned something new. I added the already listed part sto my store one by one.
Just listed 6 #30474
Lowered most minifig prices including CMFs, amongst other things set all minifig prices to $x.49 or $x.99
I lowered prices on various parts, including using $x.x9 for many pieces.
I stopped looking up price for most every piece I part out.
out of 5 orders i get feedback for just 1. people dont seem to bother at all!
this will take forever for me to offer IBAN payment!
Might I ask why you're so keen on offering IBAN payment? I'm guessing it's to avoid PayPal fees (although there might be some bank fees), but won't buyers prefer PayPal to get the buyer protection? And IBAN payments will take some time to come through, so it slows everything down.
When I get a large enough stock of Brick Separators or Rubber Band holders, I think I'm going to advertise "Free Brick with every order!" ;)
Other recent additions include 6 #10697, 2 #30447, #41118, #41172, 2 #41174, 2 #70312, 2 #70600 . #10622 is forthcoming.
I got a ton of part sorting done tonight but I still have a huge backlog.
