yoyo.com sale on 60052 and 60097

Currenty on sale $149 each. Add code MORELEGO then CITY15 to get them down in the range of $103 each. Can combine either set together but codes need to be in that order to get best price. Says new customers only, worked for my existing account. . Stock may not last long though since another site is hammering it hard.

Worked out to $216.22 after tax for me.

Not that I would know the final order total... considering I'm exiting the re-selling side of the hobby and all...

yeah that b-picker site sure is hitting it hard.  Apparently you can use City15 code up to 5 times.

Samiam, probably a smart move on the exit.  Seems more resellers today than ever before.

Great offer for the hobby though.  Thanks Pharm!

Put the items in your cart. Then add codes MORELEGO, then CITY15. The codes should stack and you should get around 102-103 USD each I believe, then there is tax if there is an Amazon location in your state.

Never mind.  Mine actually came down to $101.98 each
  • pharmjodpharmjod Member Posts: 2,916
Mine ended up being $108 and change after taxes. Great deal on both sets. I hope plenty of people here were able to get in on it!

I would suggest that you get these now and wait until March/april to get the GB HQ at [email protected] when they have a double points promo, but just a thought

city15 code is not stacking for me now.  Only can get the morelego code to work :(
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,755
Looks like yoyo.com stopped the stacking codes. Also the City Square jumped to 156.51 now.

^ same here...we must have been trying at the same time.  I had it working...then when paying thru Paypal and I noticed $40+ added to the total.  Now it doesn't work.  Was gonna buy the Tecnic 24HR Race Car #42039 for $88 too.

Actually, I signed out and both promos appeared so it looks like they stopped it from repeating.

Well, I was too late to the party. Which is good, because it prevented me from buying a bunch of these, which I would regret later

I saw the spaceports are essentially 85 USD each if you buy two. I was tempted seeing as LEGO is seemingly gouging at 119.99 USD for the set. But I already have a #10231 so I am a bit hesitant on it.

#60097 is back down to 149.89, but only the 20% off is showing when 15% has been used

Yo yo wants to charge me like $80 in shipping.  Anyone know If amazon would match the price after the coupon?
  • pharmjodpharmjod Member Posts: 2,916
Amazon owns yoyo as far as I know. Not sure if they would match though.

Fairly certain most places do not match coupons or promo codes, Amazon is matching the base price on yoyo though. I think the bigger question is how, when shipping typically is free at yoyo, are you being charged 80 dollars (i cannot tell if you are outside of the US or not as you have no location set)?

  • 3stackshs3stackshs Member Posts: 299
Outside US but with a US mailing address.  (Military APO) which should be like shipping to CA
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,755
That is weird that it costs that much to ship to an APO address, maybe because it is Fed Ex, and not USPS, shipping it.

In any case there still is a sale going on where you can get the #60097 for about 134 before tax still and the #60052 train at around 127 I believe (still not horrible deals by themselves) using the promo MORELEGO, but the codes appear to no longer stack.

That was fast. Both trains are here but they came from Lenexa, Kansas so only a couple of hours drive from here.

Got mine, in a huge box. Instead of making the boxes thicker apparently they are making them longer
