On this Christmas Eve, before I go and put my Turkey in the oven (I am on the continent and eat my Xmas dinner today), I would like to wish a Merry, Happy Christmas to all of the Brickset people. And to wish you all the best for 2016.
This community is a great one. The camaraderie between all these people who share a love for little ABS-blocks is great and makes me feel welcome. When the news is its usual depressing self, at least here on Brickset we know what 'helping out a fellow man' feels like and that makes me more optimistic with this little planet of ours. Big words so early in the morning, but I am not a writer and can't begin to explain what this community means to me.
So, for the next year I wish you and yours first of all good health, not too much work, a lot of fun (with or without Lego), great times with your loved ones and a special day when Lego decides to award all AFOL's 1000 VIP-points to spend as they want in the
[email protected] or that their website starts working properly, both would be nice ;)

May all your presents be rattly!
This community is indeed excellent. So many amazing people here. I can only echo Snowhitie's sentiments: I wish you all a wonderful time with your loved ones and health and happiness for 2016!
My hirsute pal and myself wish all Bricksetters a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year :-)
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope many (or preferably all) of your presents rattle with the wonderful sound of LEGO bricks. :)
Been lurking for many years, beginning to crawel out the woodwork and join in the banter. Thanks!!!
Today I have been mostly eating:
Turkey
Roast potatoes
Roast parsnips
Mashed potato
Carrots
Chestnut stuffing
Sausage wrapped in bacon
Mandatory Brussel sprouts
All smothered in thick gravy
Need to start on the choc (again) shortly :-)
You're quite right. I'm spending Christmas with the folks in Northants this year, hence the customary English fare.
