Lego VIP Points

Does anyone know how long it takes for the VIP points to show up in one's account? Is it within a week after the item(s) ship or less?

I should have some more points after the past week and want to use them for the after-Christmas sale.

    It never takes TOO long. I've had the experience of buying something in store and it shows on my online account in a day, though similarly I have bought stuff online and it can take up to a week to see the points on the account...

    I'm curious about this also, I bought online during the Nov 19th sale earning about 135 VIP points. My order shipped 2 days ago and today my VIP points increased by 100..... not 135...

    I've got a few orders marked as shipped over the past few days, but my VIP points have not been updated. Apparently, these updates aren't automated or perhaps a person at Lego has to review and approve them before they hit a person's account. I can completely understand a delay if a person has to review and approve each order's VIP points before posting (especially over Black Friday).

    For me they've always posted as soon as my items have shipped

    I think right now due to the sales activity that there is a delay, as my items have shipped but I notice that points are missing.. Also what really stinks is apparently when you use VIP points on an item that goes on 'backorder' you will not get those back until the order is cancelled or th eitem is gone, presumably..
    So now I have to monitor this to ensure that my order that is listed as backorder/sold out, does not make my VIP points spent on it disappear
