** BendyBadgers Bonus Ball Special Christmas Draw **

As the big day approaches, just 1 week to go I thought I would do a special draw.

As it is the Christmas Draw then the prize is a little more special than usual.  The winner will get anything up to £40 (or USD/Euro equivalent) value shipped from Amazon.

There will also be second and third place mystery prizes.

I have enlisted some help and @Legoboy has stepped up and gathered the help of 2 Bendy Elves to help with the draw and will hopefully have a grand drawing video for the results on Sunday

The draw will take place on Sunday 20th so all entries before Midnight on Saturday 19th December will be entered into the draw

No great rush as the draw will allow for the first 100 people this time. If you can keep comments to a minimum until the list of 100 entries is put up by me that will help me out with task and prevent any duplicate entry mistakes.

Hardest question of the year though. So get your thinking caps on

Who would you vote for as member of the year? (I am excluded from the vote as I asked the question so don't vote for me as it won't make your chance of winning any greater :) )

I have so many that deserve a mention and for many different reasons @ColoradoBricks @SumoLego @VorpalRyu @LostInTranslation @kiki180703 @Shib @Legoboy @TheBigLegoski @CCC @SirKevbags@CapnRex101 and obviously @Huw and probably a whole lot more but my vote would go for SumoLego for his humour and for keeping everyone trading.

Have a Happy Christmas all and be lucky

@iso3200 for his generosity in offering signed Doctor Who sets and C-3PO polybags to other Bricksetters at cost (and also for confirming that we'll get a UCS Snowspeeder next year!).

@SumoLego on a personal level for helping me out on more than one occasion. @SirKevbags, that one doesn't need explaining though!

@SirKevbags for the same reasons, @bendybadger because he's very generous and @SumoLego because of his love if sausage ;) Btw, thank you so much for mentioning me @bendybadger !

That's a tough one, there's at least 5-6 I could vote for for different reasons. I'm going for Chris @iso3200. He's helped me get hard to find polys at cost on multiple occasions and also PAB cups, and has even predicted that I was after some things before I knew it :-)

A really close second was @silentmode for all his work on swapfig, but as that is not strictly brickset business he got pipped at the post (sorry Drew).

I would say from what little I know, @SirKevbags for all his charity work or @bendybadger for offering these drawings.

Although @Russell844 deserves a shout out too for helping me get a set of the shields for the Bat-Pod.

@Legopants - well,  nobody else will mention me ;-)

Or @bendybadger for running this raffle on a regular basis.
Or @LostInTranslation for getting me some bargainous sets.

@Sumolego makes me laugh pretty much constantly, so I'm going to go with him. There are a lot of really genuinely kind and hilarious people on this board, but I'm terrible with names.

I vote for that guy with the name that's kinda like that little green guy from Star Trek. Yadi, Yidda, Yopa...something like that. Anyway, that guy is...

...oh sorry, I guess I shouldn't vote for myself.

Anyway, I'd put in my vote for @SumoLego. Funny, informative, and the first person I've ever sold LEGO to. And not in an (evil?) reseller way, but in a "I want this part of the set and he wants this other part" way.

Wow, what a question for the biggest draw of the year!!

As we can't vote for @bendybadger by his own rules, I'd probably go for @SumoLego for some great trades and for his constant sense of humour... plus he went out of his way to get some non-LEGO items for me, which I had despaired of ever getting!!  Much appreciated!

Special mentions for @iso3200 for his generosity in offering sets at cost to other members, @drdavewatford and @CapnRex101 for their reviews and, of course, @Huw - the Father of Brickset!!

All you  lovely brickseters deserve a mention, the humour and knowledge between you all is amazing, and the talent in the mocs astounds me!

@SumoLego @legomatt and @Pitfall69 make me laugh, @CCC @Shib, @TheLoneTensor and @cheshirecat provide great answers, @Istokg knowledge is amazing, @Huw @CapnRex101 @drdavewatford and @LostInTranslation do a sterling job and @bendybadger has increased the amount of random facts known about members.

But @SirKevbags has enabled me to have several free breakfasts so he wins hands down.

  • Wow tough one.

So many worthy nominees for so many good reasons but with out @Huw none of us would be here.

Honourable mentions to all the names mentioned above who keep us coming back day after day or like myself, hour after hour.

I would also like to nominate all of the brickset admin team for their time, knowledge, support, friendships and all round generosity they give to our community.

You guys are the kragle that glue us together. Thanks guys :o)

There are so many members who make this forum what it is, and picking one of them is really tough. Plenty of people make me laugh, and others write informative posts.

Other Bricksetters have gone above and beyond the call of duty to source me sets I otherwise wouldn't have obtained easily, such as those from abroad.

I think to name any one of those people would be an injustice to the others so I'll take the cop out route and vote @Huw for making it all possible.

Thankyou also to those who've mentioned me :-) - but it does work both ways. I've been on the receiving end several times. Karma and all that ;-)

Thank you @bendybadger for doing yet another but extra special draw.  You are definitely among my list of members of the year.
Thank you to those that mentioned me. That's very kind of you, but I don't think I really do anything much.

@Russell844 and @Legopants,  both of you find gents have helped me out in return,  so we're quits in my book.  @chuckp deserves a special mention because we just recently did a thoroughly pleasant trade,  where he was encouraging me too add more to the things I was receiving from him and then he still added extra surprises in for me after that!

I'd say of course @SirKevbags deserves to be nominated for his charitable works, as do @cheshirecat and @jujem71 who are also part of the FB team.  @shib as well as being a really funny and nice guy is a brilliant Fairy Ambassador too, always got a smile on as he charms people into buying raffle tickets.

@drdavewatford and @Huw for so many reasons deserve to be nominated, not least for bringing together a bunch of us in Billund to have an absolutely amazing time.

I can't choose just one person I'm afraid!

EddieDoesntMind. He was the one to first post a link to the Bat-Pod instructions, and it is because of that set that I discovered the forums. I have to say, everyone in that discussion was extremely friendly and helpful to each other, which is why I continued reading on here.

I've been really inactive on here for several months due to personal problems, but everybody here is amazing, and I was quite surprised that people even remembered me when I finally resumed my activity here with a post on the Brickset Secret Santa.

But since I can't vote for everybody (as much as I'd like to), I'll say that there are some members who have gone the extra mile and I will always be thankful to them. You know who you all are. But I'll ultimately vote for @CapnRex101 - not only for the work he does for this site with his great reviews, but he also made the Brickset Secret Santa a thing, and well, he's just an awesome guy with a wealth of knowledge :o)

@CircleK for providing retailer availability info, centered in an area close enough for me to drive but outside my usual grounds.  That's my selfish answer.
