What series would you like to see ZOMBIFIED?

Lego_Nerd98Lego_Nerd98 Member Posts: 235
This is a question based on an off-topic conversation in a Winter Village thread: What series would be awesome with zombie versions of the main characters?

And do you think it would have more success on the market? :)

None. Never understood the popularity of zombies. Now if they're in a Halloween set or Scooby-Doo then fine.  I don't want to see a zombie fire station or Walking Dead type sets.

To be a success, it would probably have to appeal to both children and their parents. That seems unlikely.

    Pirates

What about Marvel zombies? I believe there was a series of comics based on this at some point, and it would probably have cross-generational appeal.

None for me too. It's not needed, when Lego provides enough zombies through CMF and Monster Fighters.

Friends... I have always hated the idea of a "happy" theme where everything is nice and friendly. Bring on the death, decay, and anarchy.

^^It was DC Green Lantern series with the "Blackest Night" story arc where all the superheroes are reanimated.

    MARVEL did it first.

I'd like to see Western zombified just so there's a reason to bring back Western.

I agree with all the 'nones'... there are more than enough LEGO zombies for me already.

I don't feel that TLG need to zombify an entire theme, the occasional minifigure or two to expand the horde for doing zombie apocalypse scenes would be enough for me.

All the Scooby- Doo gang. I don't think it would sell better, per se, but I think it would sell.

Here's some more MARVEL zombie stuff for those of you who've never heard of it.
If you collect comics you'll probably recognize the original material these were based on.

I love the eyeballs in their mouths.

There's a lot more, even more than I realized. I don't remember ever seeing this when I was collecting comics:

    It is legit.

I too vote for none.  Zombies are meant to be scary, and they're just not scary in minifig form :)

    realise I posted this before finishing typing... should have finished with;

as they are Zombified in the source material, I don't see the point in zombifying just for the sake of it.
