Has anyone noticed this about the advent calendars/

Hi all
I noticed something today about the advent calendar, and I wonder how many other people have noticed the same. I suspect not many as you dont tend to compare between this year and last. I happen to have finally got myself 2013 and 2014 Star Wars advent calendars and made sure I bought this years one whilst it was still in stock. So I have all 3 side by side and I am building the sets each day. It took until today though for me to notice that the layout is identical for all three (as in, day nine is always 3rd from the left on the bottom row).
I always thought it was random, but they seem to use the same layout each year. Not really a groundbreaking bit of info, but interesting tidbit of trivia nonetheless

I noticed that this year, have both the Star Wars and City calendars. When it finally dawned on me that the doors for each number are in the exact same place I was confused, I guess. I want some mystery! Some suspense! Some... something. It is some neat trivia though.
