I could try using Bricklink for what I need, as I only need 4 particular pieces in varying quantities (a bunch of which I'm not even sure were available through PaB thinking about it now).
Considering I filled two and a half large cups with just those, I probably made out cheaper that way than buying each individual brick/plate.
Dec 12 - Got the 'shipped' email.
Dec 21 - Got email excusing the delay, that they did not have an estimate, and a code for free shipping.
Have not heard from them since.
Ordered = Dec 14
Shipped email = Jan 4 (2am)
Ship Date on [email protected] says "Jan 3", but the tracking on DHL "could not be displayed, check your number or try back later". Granted it also says "numbers for today's shipments may not have entered the system yet". But we're going on 24hrs since my email, and it's definitely not still "today" any way you want to figure it.
Will let you know if anything changes.
"Customs held quite a few orders for reasons outside of our control, and we worked very hard with them to get all the orders out as soon as possible. We did just get an update about the orders, and they are finally starting to move again."
So we should see movement on the tracking number soon.
Also, they gave 300 complimentary points for my troubles :-)
Customs must have heard about Brickset members need for Lego bricks and decided anything this addictive must be illegal so impounded it all. :)
