Pick a Brick Shipping Time for United States

My apologies if this has been discussed already. I used the search function but couldn't seem to find anything on it.

I am looking to make a Pick a Brick Order, probably either tonight or first thing in the morning. What's the average ship time from your experience?

I need the pieces by Christmas, preferably a couple days before. If it won't get to me in time, I can always get one of those Creator boxes as a substitute, but would prefer being able to be specific with my colors for this purpose.

Thanks!

    They should have last order dates online. Average times mean nothing at Christmas.

    Unfortunately, the last order date for PAB shipped to USA was the 3rd of December.

    Yep, I'm going to file this under me not thinking.

    I could try using Bricklink for what I need, as I only need 4 particular pieces in varying quantities (a bunch of which I'm not even sure were available through PaB thinking about it now).

    Every time I have order pab it takes atleast 2 weeks to get them to the states, if not closer to 3 weeks.

    I ordered PAB items on black Friday and have not received them yet.

    I'm still waiting for one that shipped on 11/24 from Poland.  Little longer than normal, but not that much longer.

    I order PAB and some parts from Bricks & pieces on black friday. The B&P order came about 5 days later, still waiting on the PAB.

    Normal time for me is 2-3 weeks coming from Poland.

    I've had PAB shipments take as long as 6 weeks. Try Bircklink for prompt (seller dependent!) shipping.

    I actually lucked out, as my local Lego Store's PaB wall had the right combination of pieces for what I needed.

    Considering I filled two and a half large cups with just those, I probably made out cheaper that way than buying each individual brick/plate.

    Has anybody ordered from PAB lately? I placed a large order on December 18th and it is still at the warehouse. I phoned CS last week and they told me they are trying to work through Customs issues in Poland where it ships from. It's getting a little ridiculous.

    Yikes. Would you mind sharing the elements you ordered, so others don't run into the same problem?

    Nov 28 - Placed an PaB order.
    Dec 12 - Got the 'shipped' email.
    Dec 21 - Got email excusing the delay, that they did not have an estimate, and a code for free shipping.

    Have not heard from them since.

    I'll be phoning again at the end of the week if don't hear from them. I'm not sure why they are suddenly having a problem with Polish customs.

    I had an order for some 2 x 2 and 1 x 2 tiles that I placed on November 15th and didn't receive it until the 18th of December.

    Ordered = Dec 14

    Shipped email = Jan 4 (2am)

    Ship Date on [email protected] says "Jan 3", but the tracking on DHL "could not be displayed, check your number or try back later".  Granted it also says "numbers for today's shipments may not have entered the system yet".  But we're going on 24hrs since my email, and it's definitely not still "today" any way you want to figure it.

    Will let you know if anything changes.

    Last night I contacted CS through email to get an update on the situation and I just got a response:

    "Customs held quite a few orders for reasons outside of our control, and we worked very hard with them to get all the orders out as soon as possible. We did just get an update about the orders, and they are finally starting to move again."

    So we should see movement on the tracking number soon.

    Also, they gave 300 complimentary points for my troubles :-)

    @JooTog
    Customs must have heard about Brickset members need for Lego bricks and decided anything this addictive must be illegal so impounded it all.   :)
