***Wanted: Lego XXL for my 5yr old son ****

Writing from London, Ontario Canada and NEED to find the Lego XXL that was on sale at walmart. Sold out everywhere and that's all my 5yr old son wants for christmas (he saw the flyer). Does anyone have an extra they are willing to part with? I'll pay face value + shipping (I have a U.S address in Michigan so it won't be expensive). PLEASE let me know!!!

Humm... I wonder what this is going to do to the price of this box... people are going nuts on ebay paying $80+ for it... I bought a couple just for the heck of it... $39 is not a bad price, specially since it includes shipping....

It can't stay there, it would destroy the value of Lego in general, look at the plastic tubs of Lego, 400 bricks for $30 and 700 bricks for $50.

Neither make any sense when this set is $40 for 1,600 bricks.

$39 is their Cyber Monday price.

Not sure if it will be a permanent set after that but i would suspect the price would have to go up.

@snalien i did not get the set but you might be able to order through the Walmart site and have it shippped to your Michigan address.

I just got back from Walmart in Islandia, NY and they had a whole pallet of them at the $30 black friday price.. I say had because I bought all 35 (28 + 7 duplo) of them, but the point is they can still be found in store, so call around.

I stopped by 2 stores last night, one of them had a pair of the Duplo and a single Lego set, I bought all three, but that isn't very exciting. :)

The other store was empty, even if their inventory said they should have had 6 in stock. So yes, you have to call, the online inventory isn't that useful.
