I was just browsing
[email protected] this morning and noticed all of their Brick Friday promotions are still live. There is still free shipping on every order and the gingerbread house is still available with purchases over $99. In addition, there are still many items on sale. Is this a glitch, or are they really extending the sale. And if so, for how long?

While it might sound amazing, the United States enacted laws in the 1950s that mandated that when something is physically mailed out to somebody, it becomes property of that person when it leaves the deliverer. This was because record companies would try to take advantage of people by mailing out records as part of a "club" service, and then bill people later.
When LEGO sends a shipment of an extra set by accident, it has no recourse - per U.S. law, it becomes property of the person it ships to unless, of course, it is mailed COD or under false pretenses (e.g. a stolen credit card).
When LEGO sends you, or anybody, an extra promo as part of their order, they gave it to you, and the law says it belongs to you.
Are they trying to force me back to the mall and fight the crowds :)
It took my Black Friday order of the Kopaka Bionicle set from Thursday evening to Sunday evening to go from Ohio to PA. That's usually a one day trip for them in the past, easily.
Maybe they accidentally sent me a modular :D
#60113 Rally Car
#31045 Ocean Explorer
#31044 Park Animals
#21304 Doctor Who
The total order was just a few cents shy of $100 and the Gingerbread House was added. My package arrived tonight and I just opened it after dinner. I got everything I ordered plus one additional set...
#10248 Ferrari F40.
This is crazy! What the hell is going on there that would cause these types of issues?!
Now he's taking it to the Man. One free Ferrari at a time.
The above poster was correct that in the US, the seller has no recourse if they send you something by accident. They can't make you return it or bill you for it. They can accept the return at their expense though if the person who received the item is willing to send it back. I would take zero issue with sending it back as long as they cover the cost. I can only assume (based on the comments on this forum) that there have been a lot of mistakes from that shipping center. I could see [email protected] wanting some of these items returned if the problem is in fact widespread.
I'll let you all know how they respond.
I'm perfectly cool with sending the set back. I didn't pay for it so it's not mine. I do think they should have thrown a few VIP points my way considering I have to lug this thing to the post office now, but whatever... no big deal.
So there you have it. The Ferrari sped out of my life just as fast as it entered it.
I just got my cyber Monday order.
Ordered:
76036 Carnage
75099 Rey Speeder
75087 Anakins Starfigter
10606 Doc McStuffins Duplo
I got:
Big Bang theory set
Santas Workshop
It was sent in a gigantic box too.
I called customer service and they are sending me the right order (express mail) and emailing me a return label for the incorrect sets. I don't get to keep the sets :-(
I'm sure once you've voted for Trump you'll finally have competent workers in your warehouses working for near to nothing.
/sarcasm
As a note though, I ordered it on Cyber Monday and it didn't ship for like 2 days.
