I don't know if I am missing something but at first glance, I can't say that I am seeing too many new pieces. Beehive is cool though.

I gotta say a lot of these new sets are super cool. So colorful! I love it!

I wonder if it will be used in place of the 3 leaves piece. I remember it being one of the most fragile piece when I was a child. not sure about now since I'm being more careful.

Not a new part, but maybe even bigger news than that: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/154319-rambling-on-about-colours-some-ideas-for-new-colours-too/&do=findComment&comment=2877241

So I guess this confirms that the bluish/greenish color that appears in some prelim pics of next year's Elves sets IS in fact, Bright Bluish Green/Dark Turquoise/Teal!

Yep! The Disney Elsa said uses it too, the tooth piece for Chima I believe

I remember looking at my rock raiders sets a while back and thinking what the hell is this color? it doesn't appear anywhere else.

The main themes to use it extensively were Rock Raiders and Technic Competition (Cyber-Slam). It did appear in a more limited capacity in other themes like Throwbots/Slizer, Roboriders, Bionicle, Belville, and Harry Potter, but not across the entire theme like in Rock Raiders.

New door frame too. Lavender in the Elsa Market and you can see the white version in the photo @shib posted.

It should go nicely with the gothic / pointed arch pieces as it looks to be the same curve. Although, thinking about it, it looks like one of those pieces that is completely unnecessary as it could be done with a couple of existing arches and bricks, just without the tapered / cornered front.

Door frame could be very nice for Elves... I've often run into issues where I want that sort of curved tower but there's no way to use the "gothic arch" pieces in such a small space and still have the walls taper to the sides.

Plenty of other new parts of interest as well... such as the new "gold nugget" piece (previously seen in a different color in the Lego Ninjago Movie, but not in the sets), longer straight segments of the roller coaster track than the Joker Manor offers. And too many awesome new recolors to mention!

What about these new flower pieces:

Are these meant to replace "6170300: Bracelet Upper Part"? I hope not. They resemble flowers much more closely in form that they are bound to be less versatile.

I was wondering if those were different. I guess they are. At a glance I dislike them but maybe over time they will grow on me. (pun intended)

Yeah, feeling the same here. I like the idea of a new part, but makes me a bit sad my stash of 6170300: Bracelet Upper Part won't be growing as fast as before.

With the new Disney pics I guess we now have for certain, non-leaked evidence of Bright Bluish Green (Dark Turquoise/Teal) coming back.

I dunno, the fact that these are more round with just a slight indent between the petals makes me think they could still be really versatile in their own right. For instance, as decorative capitals on a column. Also, a lot of the old four-petal flower's non-flower uses are not quite so essential anymore with the existence of the regular 1x1 round plate with through hole. I don't know for sure if these would be replacing those but I don't think I'd mind too much.

Yep, folks will no doubt come up with clever usages for this new part for sure! Can't wait. I would like to see it in pearl gold...

Introduction of similar but slightly different flowers will make sorting a PITA.

What on earth is the part used in the right-hand tower here?

Surely they can't have used a massive stack of 57 or so 2x2 jumper plates, and expect people to be able to line them all up correctly?

EDIT: Wait, that's too wide to be a 2x2 plate - look at the 1x2 trans tile below it. It may be some kind of technic piece. Honestly, I have no idea. I suspect it's probably a new element.
  • ShibShib Member Posts: 5,477
Technic was my first thought, but can’t think of any that could be loosely connected and stacked with the rotation at the centre point...really hard to tell from that angle though
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,554
I think they are individual pieces stacked up, as there are at least four different size dark stacks. So I assume you will need to get the twist right. They also don't appear to be square unless the photo is taken at a strange angle. The real ones is quite curved, to reduce wind resistance.

According to user theJang on the front page news article, could be this part with hoses as support (part 32249)

    LyichirMynattmak0137catwrangler
  • ShibShib Member Posts: 5,477
^something like that was my thought, but the rotation of them is around the centre point so in theory it should be a part with a centralised connection point
  • ShibShib Member Posts: 5,477
This image on brothers brick looks Technic to me
  • FauchFauch Member Posts: 2,709
If I see well, they are half a stud thick, so that would mean technic? a tile would be 2/5 of a stud. I think jang probably has a good guess. having a hose go through the center means you have to line them the same way than jumpers. but with a hose at each edge, I guess you can just hold the base and top, then twist them to get the right shape.

I glanced over those pics and missed the microfigs- I thought it was the baby body but now you’ve pointed it out it’s obviously different!
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,554
Minecraft pushing new boundaries again -  this is the third scale figure in the sets. Micromobs, then minifigs, now game pieces with heads. The heads look smaller than the ones that fit on minifigures, so presumably they will be like the baby heads (but cubic) in terms of hole size.

Good catch! I think it's possible they're stud-sized, but more likely to be as you say.

This one seemed to have gone under the radar (Given if it is indeed new). I looked it up in the database and didn't find anything. We have seen 1x2x1 and 1x4x1 wall elements but it looks like 1x3x1 wall elements have arrived:

1x3 panels first showed up in the Spider-Man Bridge Battle set, afaik… not sure what they’ve been in since.
