There's a comics/collectibles shop near me that has a table with loose Lego. I've gathered quite a few finger hinge pieces, also clips, old Space parts, old dark grey pieces.

a lot of the ones I have are broken. maybe the pieces that broke the most for me

I used to use the finger hinges like this with the pole at the end (like half a lightsaber handle) as forks for minifigures.
I agree, I prefer these hinges although I understand the problems. I also much prefer the 1x4 hinges of these used for car roofs, windscreens (eg Adventurers with that awesome vintage windscreen, very useful for my MOCs!)

Looking forward to the Bright Purple fish & grass pieces and the azure hair thing.  Anyone else see anything new in the Little Mermaid sets besides the Minifigs & Flounder?

New parts in #75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs TIE Interceptor: two pairs of the white wings, two of the 3x3 L-shaped plate, and the Darksaber.

I've wanted those 3x8 wedge plates for about twenty years now. It's about time.

Those new 3x3 curved panels for the engines in the X-wing look really useful for castle stuff, possibly:

83496 was first introduced in the Hogwarts Trunk, but it's nice to see it being released in additional colors.

I hope not, these are too comic book for a good tree. Perfect for here just not really transferable I feel.

I agree that they lack a certain "realness" in LEGO form to replace the traditional palm fronds.

It looks like a tongue to me.

Yup, I'm wondering how long it will take to be molded in pink or dark red...

There looks to be other new parts as well:

I don't recall seeing the jaw piece before

The white plate behind the curved tile looks like it's curved on one side, which would be new.

@scottdd2 Agreed. These would be good additions to the existing palm piece, but definitely shouldnt replace them. I also agree it looks very cartoony, reminds me a lot of the plastic palm leaves on a hanging monkey game I had as a kid.
The traditional leaves also work better for a full palm, whereas these only give you one individual leaf.
Minecart piece is interesting, I wonder if it will turn up in City for a dumptruck (or it would make a perfect skip for a skip) [what do you guys call a skip overseas? The truck that has a sort of tray/box thing that can be left somewhere, filled with stuff, then lifted back onto the truck and taken away?]
Btw, didn't the traditional monkey piece turn up somewhere? Possibly Dreamz or some other leaked pictures?

We call that a skip here…

Was the monkey old skool or Ninjago Sky Pirates in sensible colours?

    @TheOriginalSimonB Great to hear!
From my understanding and recollection it was an original monkey with the minifig hands!

Pretty sure the white plate is a new recolor for 3263 from earlier this year!

I sort of doubt it, since this piece seems to be more specifically designed to resemble a banana leaf (which are rounder and less pointy than the old palm fronds). Banana plants are not actually palm trees, and not technically even trees (since the stems/trunks are not made of wood).

Also, the "curl" of Diddy Kong's tail is a new piece. The base of his tail is also new, though it's the same one used for Diddy, Dixie, and Cranky's arms. Also, in the bottom right image on the back of 71424's box and bottom center image on the back of 71425's box, you can see the new banana bunch piece, along with a 2x2 round inverted tile for the scannable "action tile" on the underside!

Not a new part but it looks like the Vidiyo platform thing has got new life as the lift platform in Gabbys Playhouse
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 3,901
@Bumblepants I don't think that's the Vidiyo piece- there are four studs along the front edge.

Stanley's mobility scooter in #41759 Heartlake City Bus features a new 4x4 fairing piece with a handle attachment in the front, and a new bar piece with three clips which connects the fairing to the handlebars and basket!

Since the seat itself is made from basic pieces attached to studs on the fairing, the fairing itself ought to be equally compatible with minifigs and mini-dolls. In the future, I would not be surprised to see this fairing used for other devices such as ride-on lawnmowers.

That faring looks pretty specialized.  I'd love to see the other iterations they went through when designing that scooter...

[Edit: since Brickset doesn't have the set yet, here's the link to [email protected]: https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/heartlake-city-bus-41759 ]

On the one hand, I agree it's more specialized than many existing mudguard/fairing pieces. But conversely, it's a lot LESS specialized than other "single-person vehicle" molds from LEGO's past and present such as the various bicycle, motorcycle, motor trike, scooter, and wheelchair molds. Instead of having integrated seats and wheel holders like all those parts do, this one is essentially a modified plate, with anti-studs underneath to attach wheel holder plates and studs on top to attach a seat.
None of that is to say that those other parts are more specialized than they SHOULD be — after all, most of them are considerably more compact than this mobility scooter, so using brick-built seats or standard wheel holder plates with them would not really be feasible!
But all the same, I think the designers seemed to put a lot of thought into maximizing this part's versatility while still maintaining the sturdiness and level of authenticity of some of those other personal transport molds. I'm certainly eager to see where it shows up in the future!

The Dreams stable has a large new specialized part that looks like a poplar tree. It could also be used as a blade, a wall, a trail, a flag, etc.

The chest lid is in a few Harry Potter sets.
The Botancal Garden  Friends set has a few new recolours, like the rubber duck in brown, yellowish green saxophone, birds nest/furry collar in green.

Out of all the new parts in the Dreamzzz sets, that little old lady body piece is the one that caught my eye the most. I love more variety in sizes of minifigure parts!

I don't recognize this one from the new Dreamzzz sets, I'm pretty sure it's new:
Usually I wouldn't get too excited about a one of these new energy effects, but it looks like they are using it really creatively throughout the set, shooting from guns, as some drooping willow-like branches/leaves, and as the 'fire' from the shark ship. I love the creativity of using it for the tree personally.

    Also saw this sword:
Which looks absolutely fantastic, and also has a stud on it... I would be really interested to see if people could figure out a way to use this creatively like the energy splat above.  I would already see it being used as like the rear engine/exhaust from a small spaceship build.

That character really reminds me of Zelda Rubinstein in Poltergeist. The glasses and wrinkles are almost perfect.
The whole Dreamzzz theme has so much creativity and there are just too many different new/repurposed parts or recolours in all the sets to pick them all out.

I think this mobility chair is new:
From one of the city sets.  I could actually see that being used in a lot of space themed sets as well.

^I think this is the same piece that @Aanchir was mentioning from the Heartlake City set. Is it just the base that's new? Or is the bar with clips on the front also new?

@Fizyx, that same energy effect/flame/leaves piece also appears to be used as trees in another Dreamzzz set.

SO many new pieces! Great catches by everyone so far!

I must say, of everything from the Dreamzzz sets I've seen so far, the small creatures/minifigs are my favorite so far. I'm excited to watch the show to see what/who they are.

The boat hull pieces are the Porsche slopes from 2021.
The trans light blue panel on the submarine is the large space shuttle cargo door segment from 2021.
The new leaves have also appeared in Rivendell and in the Endor speeder bike chase.

@iwybs the space shuttle cargo door piece is the same piece from #71756 Hydro Bounty. This new piece on the City sub is different: it looks to have pin or axle holes on both sides. The Ninjago/ Space Shuttle part has axle holes on one side and eight studs along the other.
