This looks like a new tile separator in the Dots sets. It has an end like the crowbar.
Besides separating tiles, I suspect it will also be used as a key in the two Secret Box sets. At least one of them features what looks to be a keyhole.

Another part that really excited me is in the new LEGO Friends play cubes — a combination half-arch and SNOT bracket! It's used to attach the ears of the Pug and Cat cubes ( #41664 and #41665 ).

And, from 41926, mini wooden clothespins? And, felt "pom poms" (the round plush balls)?

Are they included though, as there is also a load of ribbon. And other sets are displayed with painted rocks / pebbles. So I assume these are things the kid already has rather than included.
You're right.  I'm not used to see non-Lego items in the promotional studio images.
(Applying a desaturation/gray filter or a transparency filter to the non-Lego items would make it less confusing.)

The new pink frog element is used for the flowers in the alternate build of the Bonsai Tree set. The Brick Fan has good pictures of this set as well as of the Flower Bouquet set. Of the two, The Flower Bouquet is a must buy for me.

Also, the bonsai tree has little pebbles. I assume those aren't included, but I cant imagine it would look as good without them.

They look like a mix of 1x1 round tiles to me.

Promobricks has pics of some Disney sets with interesting new pieces!
    • #43189 has several parts recolored for the first time in Tr. Blue Opal (including the LEGO Elves diamond piece with 3.18mm bar, and the new LEGO City 1x4 "wall of fire" piece). It also has a new minidoll-style foal piece with a 1x1x2/3 cutout in its back which can be filled in using 49307.
    • #43192 has a new minidoll-style horse piece with an articulated neck like classic LEGO horses, and also a new mouse piece patterned to resemble Cinderella's mouse friend Gus!

Like previous mini-doll sets I can't help but imagine what these new parts might've seen use in if Elves had continued. I'd been hoping for an update to the foal piece in particular for a while, since better attachment points could potentially allow for wings to be attached for a baby pegasus! Still not sure that this on its own would suffice for that, though—ideally, it'd need a 1x1 plate with clips on both sides as a finishing touch.

Looks like some new 3x3 engine pieces on the new x-wing. They will definitely be a lot easier to work with than the old piece...

^ Isn’t that a piece introduced with the minions sets?

No. The Minions sets introduced a 4x4 piece and a 5x5x2 piece, both with a 1/2 module thick rim. This seems to be 3x3x2 with a thinner rim, sort of like the front of the piece used on the earliest X-Wing sets.

Is that a new part in the new TIE fighter #75300 that connects the wings to the body?

Yes. I'm intrigued to see what the top side looks like, I think it's covered on the front.

There are several more new parts in the latest Star Wars sets that we couldn't see. You can see them in the Brothers Brick review: https://www.brothers-brick.com/2020/12/03/lego-star-wars-75301-luke-skywalkers-x-wing-fighter-75300-imperial-tie-fighter-review/ I think the most interesting one is the 1x1 brick with an axle hole. Why didn't anyone think of that sooner?

My guess is that it's been considered before, but rejected due to the possibility of stress concentrations.  Perhaps something changed in the material, the molding process, or (more likely) the new part approval process to allow it to be made.  The version with a pin hole isn't as vulnerable to stress concentrations at the narrowest points, and the 2x1 version has more material to accommodate the stress concentrations.

Newly leaked City street set has a magenta bicycle which is most welcome. Tired of med. Azure bikes.

What slightly confuses me is that I don't see that any of the blind bag builds are big enough to need/use them...

Edit: Actually, I think they're all in just the Fly Guy one.

^I think the propeller is part 54568 on top of part 20482? Looks to have come out last year and is in 11 sets.

Perhaps they are needed elsewhere, and the Mario team just got to use them and were released first. Wouldn't be the first time.

That or put a fan/grill piece on top, and you have a good A/C unit.

That would be awesome, AFAIK they are only in tan and black. (Black is also used in the same set for the engine part). But I assume TLG will make the best of this mold and use it wherever they see fit?

@Paperballpark that would be rather expensive (blockwise) to make colums out of 2/3 stud bricks but indeed not impossible (like they did with the 2x2 rounded  profile bricks in Brick Bank (92947) )

The 2021 set 60284 has two of these black 2/3x2x2 profile bricks at the back, just built one having found it in The Entertainer this morning.  The printed with a grill 2x2 slope is rather nice too.

There’s a leak of a new mermaid tail mold, but it’s weird because it looks like it’s supposed to represent an ice cream cone with dripping ice cream on the sides...

Can someone identify the sand blue part supporting the right side of the Gardens model? My attempts to figure it out on BL went nowhere.

I haven't seen this mentioned: a new part in #41692 Vet Clinic Rescue Helicopter. It's similar to a 4-wide radar dish, but with four studs on top and tubes underneath. In Vibrant Coral in this set, I haven't noticed it elsewhere. It doesn't appear in the set inventory (yet), but I downloaded the instructions and it's 6317512.

Having just looked through the 883 on the front page, there are loads I just want to own and have in the parts collection with absolutely no purpose in mind.

And they’re calling this (6337530) a “double sphere”. Does lego not know what a sphere is?
