So, has anyone spotted any other new pieces recently?  (Let's try to get things back on topic here...)

While Ill stipulate that not all LEGO sets are insanely overprice, this Main Square is is insanely overpriced for what you get. For 200 USD it should have a monorail track (probably not powered, but still). IMO 200 USD should get you at least two large buildings or three smaller buildings, even with the tram vehicle. I see this one being discounted A LOT in its run. With the one medium to large scale build, one small scale building a bunch of little dioramas of other interests, This set should probably be more in the 119 USD range (at least), maybe that 80 USD is for 'licensing' fees even though they are making the cartoon.

Maybe that new half-bike part is in red in whatever that ridiculous maintenance cart thing is? It's only been in white so far.

It looks like a new 1x2x2 container as a vending machine on the tram platform, or is it just cropped in the image for the box art?

YEah, I just think people assumed it would be a sticker of some sort, but on a 1x1 I think that would difflcult at best.

The torso print on the Poppy character in #60271 seems to be new as well. You can't see much of it so I don't know how desirable it will be.

Looks like the Masonry Profile Brick will be coming in Lavender (or maybe light purple? ) in the new Diagon Alley set...

Looks like just 1x1 bricks in clear for the forward facing ones and SNOTted cheese slopes for the angled sides.

I believe they're printed 1x2x5 trans clear bricks (more obvious from the rear picture). Same with Flourish & Blotts.

Some other cool recolors I've spotted among these sets:
    • Bright Green candles and ice cream cones, Bright Orange 1x2 tile with cell phone/text message pattern, and Dark Green (Classic Green) 6 x 3 wedge plates in #80107
    • Bright Yellow 2x2 triangular tiles (great for hazard stripes/road markings), unprinted white cereal/rice bowls, Bright Bluish Green 1x6x5 textured panel, and Medium Stone Grey bar with angled stud in #80023
    • New 90 degree robot arm/leg mold with clip and bar holder in 80023
    • Dark Stone Grey 1x2 ingot and 1x1x2/3 with curved top, Bright Bluish Green 2x3 pentagonal tile, and Bright Green mop head in #80106
Definitely gonna be poring over these pictures for quite a while to see what other surprises might be in store!

Loving the new labrador/retriever in the 2021 city sets! And also the assist dog belt. (Don’t know the correct term for it)

^I think so.  Looks like the window frames are using the standard 60601 glass for window 1 x 2 x 2 flat front.  Bricklink only lists 4 compatible parts, none look anything like those in the screenshot.
(Also, from #41449, the 4218 garage door section w/o handle is back in white after a 25+ year absence.)
Here's the lab/retriever dog that wardm mentioned (from #60291):
Parts debuting in new colors:  Wheelchair in red, with trans-green wheels and bright green tires, plus bright green skateboard/trolley wheels. (from #60290)

I think this is new:  In #60287 farm tractor, a 2x2x2 profile brick with horizontal grille/flutes (should match those of 2877 Brick, Modified 1 x 2 with Grille).

And, from 41926, mini wooden clothespins? And, felt "pom poms" (the round plush balls)?

Also wondering if the cupcake cups are just Duplo (98215) or a new System version.

I did find this custom one but the purist in me won't allow it.

I've had this post half-finished as a draft for a year now. Guess what--we're getting just that style of helmet next year!

Better pics of #10281 Bonsai Tree (878 pcs) and #10280 Flower Bouquet (756 pcs) are out now. Both are $49.99. The Bonsai Tree comes with the option of pink petals too.

    Might have to get both!

Are they included though, as there is also a load of ribbon. And other sets are displayed with painted rocks / pebbles. So I assume these are things the kid already has rather than included.

I'm wondering if this might be a new container piece with a tile lid.
Or two 2 x 2 x 2/3 bricks. I feel that the groove at the halfway point looks a fraction darker than the rest of the grooves and if the grill texture matches the existing 1 x 2 modified brick, there's not enough grooves to make it 2 bricks tall (part 2877 has six horizontal ridges, two per plate height. This has a total of eight ridges).

Yeah! I saw the sets and a sense of joy came over me. Probably the only good thing to come out of the city line so far, but looks like a retrofit for my current brigade is in order.

Also 1x1 square tiles with a raised diamond pattern in the same sets! They're definitely interesting. Would probably look great with an LED behind them.

This looks like a new tile separator in the Dots sets. It has an end like the crowbar.
