The deal just went live. I have to say almost every SW set at TRU is overpriced. The prominent exception is the UCS Imperial Shuttle. Alas, TRU doesn't let you buy more than one of those.

Don't forget to take advantage of the MasterCard $25 off $150 offering.

Agreed! In my local stores, as an example, the Hogwarts Express has been market up to $99.99, 25% above MSRP. Buy two, and you end up saving $5 per... The other sales may be for us, but this one is for the suckers.

The City Harbor is a good BOGO set, it is LEGO retail, not bumped up, a nice set for its cost, and has a bunch of nice parts and you can get more than one into your cart.. and it flying under the radar the same way the previous Harbor set went for and you could use the coupon for 15 dollars off.

When they had them in stock the Maersk set was a nice BOGO deal, even with the price increase but if you had that 15 dollar off coupon to pay the tax it was a nice set AND you can get two (how much longer thats lasts who knows)
When the Red Cargo train is at 130 AND BOGO it is nice, again with the 15 dollar off coupon and the limit of 2.

I do agree that it is getting harder to get a good deal at TRU, you have to pile on discounts here and there, use you rebates, and hope the set is:
a) In stock
b) not bumped in price..
c) not limited to one (which would possibly render it useless in a BOGO)

I really want the Unimog,s but not for 209.99 and not when it is a limit of one set.
TRU should make a limit of one on sets that have the same price as other LEGO sets (like Fire Brigade and Grand Emporium), and allow at least a limit of 2 for sets that do not (like the Unimog, Technic Excavator, Republic Dropship, Death Star, etc)

Yes, but the City Harbor is available on Amazon for 76.95 versus 89.99 at TRU. TRU seems to always be at or above retail compared to Amazon. Yes you still save a few dollars, 18.00 on two sets versus buying two sets on Amazon but for that 18.00 in savings I have to buy two of them. Not good in my books.

Zoinks! Including Mindstorms. Just ordered Imperial Shuttle and Mindstorms for $382.88 total. Shuttle for essentially $198, and Mindstorms for essentially $182. Had to pay $2 for shipping because the shipping costs were greater than $20. Thanks.

Apparently prices were raised again at TRU because the BOGO price I got on the Harbors were 80 and 40 respectively.
Plus the 15.00 dollar discount from codes.
